He didn't sell out the "birthers." Actually, you'd be belittling the framers of our Constitution, who were so concerned with foreign allegiances in our government, that they included a mandate for POTUS in the document.

If Trump actually framed his campaign around the fact that he doesn't believe that obama was born here, then yes, I'd say that he flipped. But that is certainly not the case.

Because, in reality they're clueless and confused. It's why they can never keep their own stories straight, trying to keep up with the crazy stories coming from Trump.

They're chickens with the head cut off trying to make sense of their own idiotic support for him. Totally laughable on one end, embarrassing on the other.

Well I'm not a partisan. I primarily vote for the person who, I feel, is best suited for the job of being POTUS. That's why I supported the only conservative in the race in 2012, Ron Paul. But obama and Hillary have set the entire Mid East on fire, and obama has accomplished his goal of "fundamentally transforming" not only the US, but the entire civilized world, as Western Europe is all but finished. So that now makes voting for any democrat an impossibility.

Who knows what the world will look like in 2020? Trump doesn't get a "free pass" because he so happens to have an "R" after his name.

First, did or did not Trump contradict the people who say President Obama wasn't or "might not have been" born in the United States?

    - - - Updated - - -

I know what YOU look like NOW......and if you're willing to "gamble" on ONE Trump Presidential term....over the "dangers of a Democrat"....

why wouldn't you do it AGAIN in 2020....no matter how many times Trump broke his campaign promises to you???

    - - - Updated - - -

So all the people who supported Sarah Palin being a heart beat away from the Presidency in 2008.......didn't exist???

The more I see these posts about Trump being a birther the more I think he has it locked up. They're grasping at straws trying to make something stick against him but i never does.

You see the self-delusion....or even Orwellian "doublethink" on the Right as it concerns Trump.

"Sure Trump lied....but he won't lie to ME, because the stuff he tells me I love to hear!"

Last time I checked Sarah Palin was still MILF quality. I don't think even horndog Bill would go near Hillary these days.

You would compare Sarah Palin to Hillary?

So you base your vote on sexual attractiveness?

I got back to my previous statement about Trump supporting males who imagine themselves like Trump ....a 70 year old man married to a 40 year old ex-model.

When the fact is....they'll be a 70 year old man married to a 70 year old woman, who'll know that her husband is superficial....

or, more likely, a LONELY 70 year old man.

I recognize that any candidate will have to say or do things that I don't agree with, in order to compete nationally. It's common for Republicans, not democrats, but Republicans to have to bend over and grab their ankles and skii for the degenerate media.

I don't think that Trump is bearing false witness, I think he's keeping his cards close at hand; he's saying what he needs to say to get elected. If honesty were a requirement for the job, only a few Presidents that we have had would've been Presidents. Being truthful is not mandatory. Results are.

What's all this stuff about "gambling?" I have supported Trump from early on, not from day 1, but early on, and I do not see it as a "gamble." If the worst comes true, he's still light years better than anything the democrats can scrape up, so I consider Trump a good investment.

Secondly, why are you still harping on the birther nonsense? Your candidate is the walking dead, and anything to delfect from her. Trump was a private citizen when he made the claim, it was not a campaign issue. He didn't sell his supporters out, in fact I'd bet most of them want him to say that obama was born here, as it makes him more appealing and mainstream.

On another note, how about the whopper that Hillary wants to overturn Citizen's United? Do you really buy this? If not for CU, she wouldn't be anywhere close to where she is now, and she needs it to get re-elected. Someone needs to play clips from 2006 where Hillary fought for a border fence to "keep illegals out." It's hypocritical to now call a wall "racist."

I'd much rather have a grandma than this con artist as president. Grandma's will usually bake you a cake. The only thing Trump is going to bake is our (*)(*)(*).

Oh, so I guess folks will turn out to vote for a lying Trump instead right? Not surprising! Hiding under the desk with the lie that Clinton started the birther movement is just so cowardly by Trump supporters. You people have no shame;http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watch/trump-s-clumsy-birther-lies-trigger-outrage-767319619609

Hillary's campaign staff did begin the birther movement and she had to know about it because she was and is a control freak. She signed off on it and the rest is history. Back in 2008 she and Bill were portrayed as racists by the Left-Allied Mainstream Media for the results of their campaigning against Barack Obama.

Trump said Hillary Clinton did that. He never said anything about her campaign starting the movement. Trump lied.

Since everything gets run past the candidate pretty much the campaign staff reflects the presidential contender, especially by the middle to end of a campaign run. When it's not then the candidate makes a big point of denying that they were in the information loop. Hillary simply claimed that it never happened. So SHE lied -- again.

Oh please if we get into the dueling links and sources game then we will be at this all day. Clinton's former campaign manager said what she said and the Clintons did what they did. In 2008 the MSM intimated that the Clintons were racists because of the nature of their campaign against candidate Obama. Half of today's Hillary supporters are the same ones who were firmly convinced that she and Bill were racists when she was campaigning against Barack.

No we won't. Mine tells the truth about what happened exactly. The only one providing any duelling here is me.
What happened or didn't happen in 2008 along with your racist side bar comment, has nothing to do with the facts I presented about Clinton and her campaign starting the birther movement. Every time folks like you drift away from the the original argument, it's at that point I realize you have lost.

Oh please....there must be at least 6 threads about this nonsense. Lame stream media must have told all of you to push this, and like good little Hillbots, you did. Please try to comprehend that HILLARY began this rumor when she tried to beat Obama in the primaries in 2008. Ask Obama . Even HE knows Hillary started it.
