I see a lot of talk on this forum about Ron Paul. and I want to set you strait about RP.
He is an unAmerican American. His wish to end military conflict overseas will destroy our safety here in the United States. In fact we can and must afford to maintain our funding of overseas conflicts. If we were to get rid of social security and medicare we could double our Military budget and insure America's safety.
Ron Paul wants your kids to do drugs. he wants to legalize drugs. and grant it as a freedom under the constitution.
Ron Paul wants your kids to be gay. He wants to legalize gay marriage. He says it's not up to the government to tell people who can and who can't get married.
Ron Paul is a crazy old man don't listen to him.
This is a nation founded under God we must keep that in mind when we vote.

Ron Paul doesn't look like a leader to me. He doesn't seem to have those leadership qualities at all. I think that just deciding to close all our bases around the world, regardless of where, isn't a prudent thing to do. Some of them seem to need to still be there, such as the one in South Korea. While they have a nutcase like Jong Il, it's best for us to have a presence there, I would think.

And why can't you vote for Newt Gingrich.Because Lefties have managed
to smear him so bad,he's unredeemable.
He was the Guy who led the Revival in the House in '94.
    He has chops.

Ron Paul is the grandfather of the libertarian movement in America. From your avatar I assume you consider yourself a member of the Tea Party, yet you also appear to be a Palin supporter. Palin is nothing but a zionist neo-con that has hijacked the true Tea Party movement. She's pure GOP establishment.

Actually that would be Barry Goldwater, and he wouldn't be pleased with Ron Paul's lack of foreign responsibility.

Foreign responsibility? You mean fighting wars for Israel?

If the middle east erupted into regional war over Israel it would throw the global economy into such disarray that Western Civilization would be severely strained to deal with the ramifications.

You want to add a mid-east oil crisis on top of a recession?

But then again, war destablizing the middle east and destroying of the fiat economy is exactly what Gold Bugs would like to see I guess.

If the U.S. government wasn't dominated by zionist Israeli bootlickers, then 9/11 wouldn't have happened in the first place. Let the countries in the Middle East handle their own problems.

America's intervention is what triggered the 9/11 attacks. The government's interventionism is making the US much less safe.

He recognizes the fact that outlawing drugs at the federal level is unconstitutional; thus, it should be left to the states. Hypothetically, if he were governor of a state, he would make all drugs legal for adults.

It's somehow a bad thing to not be a bigot?

    Oh now I'm convinced.

    Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

    Mmk.

Oh, I get it now. The OP is a liberal pretending to be a Tea Party supporter. He/she is playing up the stereotypes put forth by the liberals in a feeble attempt to discredit the Tea Party.

You're overdoing it. You libs aren't nearly as smart or as crafty as you think.

He already has my vote. Prohibition failed in the 1920's and we never learned the lesson even though we've thrown trillions at controlling marijuana.

Ok..I admit I wasn't thinking of voting for him anyway, but this is something that all candidates should believe anyways. Look at history to define our future.

He was very honest with his Contract For America, which ushered in
a final 40 year rebuttal of Liberal Democrats in the House.
He was responsible for Clinton's balancing Budgets and leaving a small
    surplus for Bush.Plus Welfare Reform.

I'm sure Newt and slick Willy were good buddies. They're both morally bankrupt adulterers, so they've got a lot in common.

Why do people assume that if we were to withdraw troops from areas where there is no conflict, that chaos would certainly ensue? What are they basing this off of?

Yet another assumption. You assume that if RP becomes president drugs will suddenly become legal.... and once again chaos ensues.

Ron Paul will face overwhelming opposition from all sides should he decide to seriously pursue the drug issue... and especially if he offers no rational method to it. Drugs will not instantly become legal if RP is elected.

Personally, I'm not fully opposed to the drug war, but I think we need to modify our approach a bit. I favor a system like Portugal. I was resistant to Portugals approach at first, but it appears to be highly successful. It's worth a shot here.

To say that Ron Paul wants children to be gay is absurd. He though DADT was just fine for the military. He has opposed homosexuals adopting children. That is a very Conservative stance. What he is saying is that Government shouldn't tell you who to marry. He favors marriage being handled through the Church... also pretty Conservative.

RP says that our rights are straight from our creator... and not from the government.

I don't believe in a creator myself, just pointing out that once again, a pretty conservative stance.

Btw, don't forget RP's place in the beginnings of the Tea Party, and that he actually has some Tea Party support.
