No, I don't think they're going to break up any existing Marriages. However that doesnt mean that this will continue forever. perhaps those who took advantage of said mistake will be allowed to grandfather in, afterall it wasnt their fault.

Anyway, "folks like me" can "deal" with this easy enough. It's not something that keeps me up at night, and doesnt directly effect me. Folks like me will be fine and go about our daily lives just fine.

I think you are missing the point of boards like this. Topics come up...opinions are shared...life goes on.

Do I believe Marriage was never meant for 2 guys , 2 Girls or Single people? Of course. Does it effect me? lol...no.

Dissapointed that there is a full court press going on to promote an unhealthy lifestyle choice made by 2% of the population to the 98% who know better.

Gay Chips..Gay Sandwiches...Gay Flags and Logos....Gay TV Channels...and at the same time telling those with a differing opinion to stay out of their bedrooms?

When the topics are taken from the bebdroom to the public for discussion, expect people with differing opinions to share them. gay is beneficial to noone, not sure why it's being promoted and pitched to us so heavilly.

Yah, love aint always simple...i know that. My question stands.

 

Everyone is entitled to love of course, however when talking about societal institutions....I dont see how Gay benefits any society. At least Heterosexuality allows a society to grow.
Gay is all about themselves, and by the limitations of life offers nothing outside of that.


If we are to become a culture based on "me, me , me"...then sure. Gay it up I guess. I just dont see the advantage to any society to sanction, encourage and promote the lifestyle.

Not saying anyone should be barred from pursuing it of course, I just dont think it's on the same level.
