Doubly inspired to donate

    Earlier today (08.25.11), I noticed that Political Forum.com's "donation meter" (for lack of better terminology) had increased by $30 from last night's figure - from $192.50 to $222.50. Inspired, I then set out to make a donation, but I was unable to do so due to technical difficulties which likely stemmed from this site's huge demand. Ultimately, though, I was able to complete my donation just a very few minutes ago.

    With that having been said, obviously, Political Forum.com is an extremely high-traffic discussion forum requiring an ever-increasing amount of costly bandwidth, perhaps multiple and equally costly servers as well as an awful lot of thankless work from any number of individuals whose efforts I am already very appreciative of. So therein lies my twofold inspiration to donate to Political Forum.com
    And so let us not allow Political Forum.com's tremendous success to become its own worse enemy.

    Please donate if you find yourself so able. :)

    You are of course quite welcome, Makedde. But the lion's share of the gratitude need go to you and the balance of Political Forum.com's administrators. This is the finest, not to mention the busiest, politically-oriented forum that I have been a part of in all of the eighteen years in which I have engaged in Internet-centered political debate. As such, this sandbox requires one hell of a lot of time, effort and money.
