…Among the most important winners on Tuesday was the issue of school choice, a nonpartisan issue that is really about educational quality.

The victories were big, and they were also widely distributed. Tommy Schultz boasted last week that his organization, the American Federation for Children, had targeted and defeated around 40 incumbent state legislators who opposed school choice. It was a good investment of the group's $9 million.

DESANTIS-BACKED SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES RIDE GOVERNOR'S COATTAILS AMID FLORIDA RED WAVE

In South Carolina, school choice advocate Ellen Weaver was successfully elected as the superintendent of education on an education freedom platform. And the school choice wave wasn't limited to the state's rural voters, either. In Charleston, candidates backed by the pro-school choice organization Moms for Liberty secured a majority on the local school board

…That's just the beginning of the successes that education freedom candidates enjoyed on election night, including successful reelections for every governor supporting school choice. And these victories were preceded by one of the most exciting outcomes — the welcome failure by leftists to repeal Arizona's school choice law through a ballot referendum

…Radicals are weaponizing education and turning it into a process of deranging children. They are setting aside basic reading and math in order to indoctrinate children in fringe gender ideology and race-essentialism.

Not only do educational alternatives offer children a better opportunity to learn, but they also help parents avoid having their families' values undermined with their own tax money. That's a win-win.

Parental rights made some great progress around the country last week. The pandemic and parents witnessing distance learning in person at home was a real wake up call. It’s time for teachers unions and leftist school boards making parents and their children the enemy to be overcome and to begin to work with both to educate our kids effectively.

Secular progressive elites and their allies are trying to radicalize our kids and turn them against God, family, and country. In addition to home and private schools and charter schools, we must fight for basic public schools and the content being taught there. Tuesday was a continued build upon recent post pandemic success.

Try to stay on topic here. The article is about education and parents.

Religious liberty for all Americans regardless what if anything one believes is a good goal but again not the topic here. Too much of secularism is not neutral but is absolutely anti religion. That bias is presented to our kids in school.

that is on topic, pro-choice applies to many things, parents want a choice in how their children are taught, are you against choice?

So what you are saying is that rights of some Christian parents supersede the rights of all other parents.

"secularism" is not only enshrined in our constitution but it is fully taxed.

all of the "conservative" privatization and union busting schemes for education were imposed in my state by bobby jindal a decade ago. care to compare louisiana test scores and such with progressive states? it has been a while since i looked them up but it is safe to say the experiment is an expensive failure.

God, family, country is a political motto. It is who and what we are.

Pretty sure you're only "pro-choice" for things you agree with. For at least most of the things you disagree with you have no problem denying thier choice.

Are you really trying to pretend that there is absolutely NOTHING that you are against and demand others don't do also? Nothing at all? Be honest now.

No one should be following school board elections beyond where they live.

Part of our problem is that we care too much about other people's business.
