I was in a meeting today about this.

What I will now say is the stated and enforceable policy of CENTCOM.

The Egyptian Military will neither take place in as well as reject any and all requests for any Military actions to take place against the Muslim Brotherhood unless the Military is responding to any violent actions against any persons or property in Egypt done by the Muslim Brotherhood.

All efforts must be made to keep the Egyptian Military out of any possible reprisals against the Muslim Brotherhood. In the event that members or supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood should attack elements of the Egyptian Military...the Military is authorized to use Non-Lethal Force and avoid the over use of force in responding to any such attacks.

Now I was told today I am probably going there and if I do it will be to communicate to the Brotherhood that although CENTCOM will not allow unchecked and unnecessary violent actions or reprisals to be perpetrated against the Brotherhood....in the event the Brotherhood uses this Egyptian Military Restraint as an excuse to plan reprisals and other violent actions...CENTCOM will no longer constrain the actions of the Egyptian Military to respond.

As well...IF...I have to go there....and I would only have to go if the violence get's out of hand....the Brotherhood might find itself S#!% OUT OF LUCK as far as having the good fortune that CENTCOM is forcing a degree of restraint of any actions done by the Egyptian Military.

They are concerned that if Morsi was allowed to continue to be president, he would consolidate power and turn into another dictator. These suspicions are not completely unfounded, because the muslim brotherhood is not very tolerant of the opposition. Many in the muslim brotherhood want an Islamic theocratic state.

The muslim brotherhood was only able to get all those votes because of the many poor people in Egypt, and the muslim brotherhood was more organized than any of the other political parties.

You don't have to take my word for it.

Check out the statements of Egyptian General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

I don't think the comparison to Turkey is a good one.
In Turkey, the ruling gov. although both Muslim and anti democratic, has been ruling for almost a decade now. It has advanced Turkey economically.
They cleaned a lot of corruption, while growing some of themselves. But still they are new in control, so their corruption is not as high as the previous one.
In short, until now the Turks only gained from their rule and lost only a little bit of political freedom, that only a few enjoyed before anyways.

It would be called a...JOB....and as of yet nothing has been set.

Believe me I hope the hell I don't have to go.

In all other possible...JOBS...asked of me and my team....I have the ability to say...No, I will pass.

All except for this one as the person asking this of me is someone I owe.

If it were not for that fact I would say NO just because the JOB is in the Middle East.

Now I have done some...JOBS...in this region in the past that went well...except for the ones in Israel as every time I have gone there it takes FOREVER and I have come to understand because of all the U.S. Aid money being thrown around neither the Palestinian or Israeli Leadership really want peace because they are personally making money skimming off the top.

As far as if I have to go to Egypt...I will do so as the voice of CENTCOM.

Most Egyptians have very little to any understanding of just how connected and dependent their Military and their countries Budgets are to CENTCOM and the U.S. Military and U.S. State Department.

Part of CENTCOM's budget is used for a wide variety of Egyptian Military needs as well the Egyptian Pre-Governing Military Body that helped set up the Egyptian Constitution as well as defining the roles of the Military in aspects of the Government were given a great deal of advice from the U.S. State Department and CIA.

The millions of Egyptian People living in a high state of poverty are...FED, CLOTHED, PROVIDED MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND EXPERTISE, PROVIDED WITH ROADS, BRIDGES AND OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE AND ARE PROVIDED WITH MONEY TO BE USED TO BUILD SCHOOLS AND PAY TEACHERS....directly out of CENTCOM'S BUDGET........COVERTLY THROUGH THE EGYPTIAN MILITARY.

It was decided by the CIA that to prevent MORSI and the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD from stealing the AID MONEY from the United States that was earmarked for use doing the above needed civic projects and humanitarian aid for Egyptians living in impoverish locations within Egypt...this U.S. Aid would be disseminated to the Egyptian People and Construction Companies FROM CENTCOM....TO THE EGYPTIAN MILITARY....THEN TO THE EGYPTIAN PEOPLE.

This of course has built a great deal of trust by the Egyptian People in their Military.

What the Egyptian People don't tend to know is it is the UNITED STATES AND THE UNITED STATES MILITARY'S CENTRAL COMMAND...ie...CENTCOM....that is the country and entity responsible for making certain the Egyptian People get these U.S. Aid Funds.

President Mansour appointed Mohamed ElBaradei as Egypt's interim prime minister and this is a step in the right direction to end political turmoil in Egypt. ElBaradei leads the National Salvation Front, an alliance of liberal parties, and his appointment would unite the country and satisfy opposition protesters. ElBaradei clashed with the Bush administration when he was the director general of the IAEA and he questioned the US rationale for the Iraq war but he is supported by the Obama administration.

Once a group of people attain political power............… their approach to staying alive and preserving that power would make the opening of certain channels of communication rather necessary!

I am hoping that Egypt and many other Islamic nations will notice how much potential this type of project has.

One extremely interesting movement of the last decade or so is the one that gives evidence that the Palestinians……….. are probably the great, great, great….grandchildren of the Jews……. who did not join in the Bar Kochba Revolt….. and thus were not expelled from the province of Judaea after the revolt was crushed.
