Since the Maspero incident Egypts stocks have steadily risen.

Orascom company owned by the Coptic Christian Brothers Saweiris have seen steady rises and have just announced a joint venture worth 3 billion $ with Brazil fertilizers Superporto, the completion of Haram City close to me with 8.5 million sq mtrs mid income units, and a large real estate project with Oman raising shares significantly post Mubarak.

    Keep it up Egypt:sun:

Why aren't they in joint venture with Saudi Arabia on fertilizer? Shipping cost would be far less and KSA sells thousands of tons of fertilizer to Southeast Asia every year.

I think the new Egypt is expanding out to new friends around the world rather than stick to the same old faces.
The policies are changing. The people want change of old ways.
Brazil is an up and coming economy with much potential. We already buy their beef so maybe we will buy other things too.
What can Saudi grow with the fertilizer?
Brazil has much better use for fertilizer.

Those gold mines and other elements mines will all be getting back into action soon enough.

    Mubarak kept everything stagnant.
No research no progress just big corrupt businessmen building endless malls and resorts with the cheap steel and cement from Ezz they done deals with.

Now the Nobel Prize winner Zuweil said we can flourish and grow and expand and use our resources and focus on technology.
Check out his plan and Zuweil City.

After elections and we have government and once security is restored and once the criminals are seen to be dealt with there will be no stopping Egypt.
    We know our strength.
Bright future ahead for Egypt as long as we have security and less salafist influence and choose our friends wisely.

Oh I am glad to hear that... Gold mining would be a boost to Egypt's economy.
