Onus is entirely on you to provide credible support for your allegation that Trump has "spiked" in Hispanic support from 31% tp 40%.

And no, Dornsife is not a credible site for that bogus allegation.

I always check that LA Times/USC daily tracker. I was surprised to see the steep spike up for Trump and steep drop for Clinton this close to the election. The gap seemed be narrowing over the last few days on that poll. The new Weiner email discovery may have had more of an impact that I expected. There is also apparently a new Trump ad - have not seen it yet.

It's a poll result, not an allegation. And you have no reason to believe that Dornsife is any less credible than any of the MSM polls. So as usual, you're just blowing hot air.

Dorsife is an OUTLIER polll and when you examine their metrics and weightings they are just not credible. Univision polls focus on Hispanics and have far more credibility when it comes to who they support. Pew does the best demographic polling.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/wp/2016/11/03/the-hispanics-hate-donald-trump/

Then there is Hillary's overall lead of 30% nationwide amongst Hispanics.

    http://www.politico.com/states/flor...c-poll-is-terrifying-to-gop-nationwide-107067

Your Dornsife poll fallaciously alleges that Hillary only has a 7% lead amongst Hispanics nationwide. That is not based upon any reality of the current electorate demographics.

So yes, I have a very substantive basis for calling out Dornsife as being not credible.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, polls change over time. That's why I use daily tracking polls, and not the one-in-a-lifetime snapshot polls you use from "Univision". For instance, on October 30 Dornsife showed a 24% lead for Hillary with Hispanics, 56% to 32%, not that far off from your 30% "Univision" lead. But a week later it collapsed to a 7 point lead.

Maybe you should give "Univision" a call and complain to them about how fallaciously outdated their polls are, or maybe you should try keeping up with the times.

But, in the end, HILLARY STILL WINS.

So who even cares if polls (showing slight fluctuation) are outdated?

Hillary WILL WIN. That is all that matters.

What is the reason why Hillary's Hispanic support lead would collapse by more than 75% in the space of last 5 days?

What earth shattering revelation turned around the Hispanic voters so dramatically that they abandoned Hillary and joined the ranks of the bigoted women molesting Trump?

You keep forgetting the albatross that hangs around your neck; that of Hillary Clinton. She is such an overwhelming weight to carry that a whole lot of people, including Hispanics, are fleeing from her loose. Trump on the other hand, is speaking a message that a lot of just regular Americans, including Hispanics, can relate to.

Trump's new ad, which is shown on post #507 of this thread, is a testament to it. You should watch it.

Oh, and by the way, today Trump edged up to a 5.6% lead in the Dornsife poll; Trump 48.2%, Hillary 42.6%; still outside their margin of error.

That is a very good ad. I was unable to tease it out of Google or youtube.com searching for "latest trump ad" "trump ad november" and a few others. Google Is Evil.

In other words you cannot explain that aberration but to anyone who does understand polling it is patently obvious.

If there was any basis for that swing it would show up equally amongst all of the demographic breakdowns but it doesn't which means that the weighting factors used by Dornsife are nowhere close to reality.

Dornsife is an outlier poll and anyone who only sticks to a single poll and ignores the vast mountain of available information is obviously doing so from a strictly partisan bias.

Wishful thinking on the part of Trump-addicts.

Of course, the proof-is-in-the-pudding that will served later tonight. But the printed word seems to agree with the sentiment that Trump has succeeded in arousing this community like no candidate since the dawn of time ...

It is a good ad. On one hand, it's appealing to the same loser-mentality that got Trump nominated in the first place: blame others for your failures. He mentions Mexico, China, the political "establishment," even a global corporate conspiracy, all so that people who are unhappy with their situations can righteously point their fingers at someone else rather than assume any personal responsibility. Like any loser, Trump has been quick to whine and complain about others making this presidential race unfair for him - the media, other republicans, a microphone... This ad actually says all the same stuff but without sounding so pathetic.

The other thing the ad does well is to tell Americans that they are the solution to a corrupt government. But you can tell how much this is a result of Trump's advisers working on him and getting him to change from his original message, which was "The only solution to your problem is... me." That's right, they finally convinced him to get over himself and stop promoting himself as the sole answer to America's problems. That part of the ad comes across well, but it isn't enough to erase the history of Trump's self-promoting demagoguery.

Ultimately this is probably the best ad he's run, but it's too little too late.

We will know very soon, but that the system is rigged is no longer contested. Everyone knows the "system is rigged" by the corrupt bipartisan political establishment.

“Bernie Sanders said the Democratic primary process is a "rigged system" at a campaign event in Evansville, Indiana on Monday. Sanders announced last night at the National Press Club that the Democratic convention will be a contested one.

"When we talk about a rigged system, it's also important to understand how the Democratic Convention works," Sanders said Morning morning. "We have won, at this point, 45 percent of pledged delegates, but we have only earned 7 percent of superdelegates."

I predict that no matter who wins tonight, most of us will still be here four years from now arguing about many of the same issues. Some of us will be better off, while others will have less good fortune. Either way, this nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal, will long endure.
