Your attempt to sweep the published failures under the rug is silly, and there are more than one example you have belittled, never said that Electric busses in general is a failed concept but it is a problem you need to account for.

In my city the Transit system purchased one electric bus in 2018 ran it for short time then parked it in the transit yard as its inability to run in the winter due to standard winter weather draining the battery.

The hybrid way is the far better idea, then it can work much more reliably.

Stop ignoring the growing list of failures!

You have ignored post 169 and 174, how come?

When man advances into new territory there is always failure. Mans journey into the unknown is often comical. But we do advance. And I understand the frustration derived from solar technology not having enough power to push a go cart at walking speed or to trickle feed a battery. Let alone take me to Tucson. But we can get there ....carbon neutral....if we try.

EV's are not new territory. They are a step backward.

    Yup!

We are talking about this instead!

An EV pickup that can do a 360 tank turn!

That ability comes with having a 4x4 without all the mechanical diffs and gearboxes.

There is a motor in each wheel and they can each steer independently and even turn in opposite directions which is what makes the tank turn possible.

It is no slouch when it comes to going off road over steep rocky terrain while also being quick off the line from a stop light.

Best of all it can be recharged using solar power which means NO gas guzzler taxes.

Almonds use 1.1 gallons of water per almond.
There are many things which use excess amounts of water and it's important to be aware of them but using it as a cudgel to attack EVs is, as you say, hypocritical if climate deniers don't care until it comes to burning Teslas.

I cheer evidence that exposes EV's for the fraudulent carnival sideshow that they are.

I honestly don't know much about EVs. I can agree however that a lot of so- called solar power is worse than useless. It is expensive. And any municipal government that spends money on EV technology better do the homework. But with politics anything could be going on.

Cost isn't really the point of moving away from fossil fuels.

Maybe not for you. But I don't have a lot of money and I need it to survive.

    Ha ha.....

    Really are you blind?

I haven't disputed your links at all, what YOU keep doing is ignoring the reported problems that has caused several cities and a large Transit system to drop EL buses. THAT is what you ignore over and over, that is why I keep bringing it up.

You still ignored posts 169 and 174 and will ignore post 187 too because you want to ignore the Electric vehicles problems completely, that is a one track mind seeing only one part of the topic about the electric buses. That is why your credibility is evaporating.

You now irrationally accuse me of Trolling and ad homs.....

    Pathetic.

Yeah the same person you avoid debating on the science he posts often.

    Your prejudice doesn't help you.

I learnt the futility of debating climate change deniers a long time ago.
Copy pasted blogs and opinion pieces don't constitute science IMO.
