And yet you assumed I didn’t know that when I said what I did earlier…

Up until a few years ago I never drank coffee. My tastes changed in my 50s

I have never paid over $3 for coffee, let alone $6. I have $130 of Starbucks gift cards gathering dust in my house, that someday I guess I will use, but I have no desire to go to Starbucks

For the record, Biden was surprised that a smoothie cost $6. If you have been to the super market I can spend three times that on the blueberries, catalope, pineapple and strawberries I eat every morning. Produce has gotten expensive under “Bidenomics” Hence $6 smoothies.

My response is, let Biden eat ice cream.

I did not assume anything. I did a quick google search for Biden education and it showed the undergraduate degrees I posted. @Steve N posted an article which showed Biden did indeed have a law degree. I said I was wrong and admitted it.

I have no problems with admitting I am wrong. I am often wrong and never pretended to be perfect. If I was to ignore my mistakes and not acknowledge them it would be an elitist thing to do. :)

I don't like coffee but don't mind the smell. What's absolutely gross is mayonnaise

I doubt Biden knows the price of the electric cars he wants all of us, including poor people, to buy.

Actually the $6 drink in question was a smoothie not coffee. Starbucks can make coffee cost $6 though.

Biden is not by the ridiculous criteria set forth by this "poll" which clearly seems designed to cage a very small segment of the population in a very precise location.

Hint: Warren Buffet, like Biden is not part of the elite as defined here.

Hey, if Trump gets back into power in November, he and his GOP Congress can give the elites another YUGE tax cut. Aren't they the job creators?

A 20 year old kid can run around in public space like mall, or church or movie theater with AR-15 and you think that is not too much Freedom?

You are right America has 2 different view. The liberals vs the Rural America. The population in Rural America is sinking. By 2032 there will not be enough “ Normal American” to vote and elect a POTUS. Can’t wait for that day!

Oh, so he purchased indulgences? How nice for the guy selling them to him.

They Are Coming For Your Coffee Now

'Swiss banker and World Economic Forum "agenda contributor", Hubert Keller: "The coffee that we all drink emits between 15 and 20 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of coffee... Every time we drink coffee, we are basically putting CO2 into the atmosphere."'

    Hubert can bugger off.

Carbon is the foundational molecule of life.

Every living cell at one time was an molecule of CO^2.

'Keller is speaking to the arrogant elites who wish to rule the world. There is a lot of hypocrisy among them. One example is that they preach about the use of fossil fuels, yet many of them arrive in private jets for the annual gathering in Davos. Look no further than John Kerry for extreme hypocrisy. Biden’s climate envoy lives one way while expecting regular people to live a drastically different way. Eat bugs and live without electricity, peasants.'

    And now, no coffee, either.

Good topic. Poor survey. The attitudes we need to know are those who actually donate. For example the 2020 Stanford survey of 1,152 individuals that donated 17.2 million in the cycle. Oddly enough we don’t know a lot about the attitudes of donor class and until recently not much study of the topic had been done.

There’s also the Cal (Berkeley) survey of Tech Entrepreneurs that proceeded the Stanford survey. That’s where the term ‘Liberaltarian’ was coined. A socially Liberal lot that’s more conservative than most conservatives when it comes to regulation, taxation, and Labor.

It would be nice to know the attitudes of the donor class albeit the big donors have gone to great lengths to shield their ‘speech’ from scrutiny.

Personally I’d like to know the attitudes of the silver spoon class (inherited money)we’ve created over roughly the last half century. Sure, we know the opinions of Don, Don Jr.,etc but a larger survey would be enlightening.
