both sides request posts they think violate the TOS be removed, that is what we have seen from this, yes, the Republicans too

and if you or I want to request a post reviewed on twitter, we can click the report button and do the same

Well, I guess as long as there are people lapping it up, they might as well stretch it out, as long as possible. It's not like they have any real proof, they're holding back, of activity worthy of investigation.

 

Years and years ago when I would use a "racial name" (I don't consider them slurs) for someone, my wife would ask me not to use the word. She had fallen for the media propaganda. Way back then I told her I would not let anyone tell me what words I can or cannot use because in the USA we have freedom of speech. Fast forward to today and my wife is upset that Twitter and the government were working together to stifle free speech. She has learned. I feel sad for those who don't fully understand what Twitter and our government were doing together. Elon is a hero and certain people are running for the tall grass.

1st Amendment. The FBI shouldn't have sent even ONE single email asking Twitter to review for possible "rule violations". Not. One. Single. Email. But I guess you don't care about the 1st Amendment. So its all good for you, right?

 

Last I knew none of us "simpletons" had direct email access to the top echelons of Twitter. Are you special and have/had such a direct email? When we have to report a post we have to use the report button which then gets sent to the lowest paid employee to "review"...assuming the algorithm doesn't just straight out ban the post. Meaning the post either didn't use or bypassed common words. The FBI was directly emailing management people in Twitter. Not using the report function. See the difference?

However even if they had just used the report function, that is STILL a violation of the 1st Amendment barring government from interfering with Speech.
