Regarding Ukraine I would not pledge a nickel more than what the European union pledges.

So far we have pledged 2X as much military aid. Around $3B vs $1.6B.

In every conflict we do all the heavy lifting and spending and dying. Korea, Vietnam. Iraq and Afghanistan. This is in their back yard they need to do more.

Biden will never say anything because democrat presidents are more concerned about being liked by these rich white countries.

We need to stop this idiot attitude that we are the policeman for the world. We gave Ukraine billions in aid even before the Russian invasion. Almost $700B in 2020 alone. We are 30T in debt and plenty of problems on our own.

The European union is a close confederacy of countries with 447 million in population. Most of them are wealthy or fairly wealthy. This conflict is going on right in their back yard perhaps they should give a flying fudge.

We saw with the Yugoslavian civil war how they sat on their collective asses and did nothing while people died and many so called experts were predicting the conflict would spread to nearby countries like Romania and Greece. Still France and Germany did nothing.

So where is the leadership? Kamala going to provide the leadership? The result of Russia taking over Ukraine means more economic power and depndancy over Europe who would be even more dependent on their fossil fuels and wheat. We do not need those things they do!

Joe Biden is now pushing for troops in Ukraine.

He is using that idiot Chris Coons to test drive the idea first to try and warm us up to it. Tucker talked about it tonight and he is absolutely correct. Amazingly Trump has said the same things lately as Coons. Coons is in Biden's old senate seat and is basically Biden's whore in the US senate.

Listen to the whore Coons preparing us for a war with Russia at the behest of Biden.

Here is Trump saying the same stupid things recently.

You will not hear Germans or the French talking about sending troops to Ukraine for humanitarian reasons will you? Why is this always something we think we need to do?

Where did you get the utterly ridiculous 700 billion dollar figure?

The U.S. has traditionally done the heavy lifting for our NATO allies because of the simple fact that it has always been assumed that a Soviet (Russian) invasion of Western Europe would largely be fought on their soil. So they were "supplying the battlefields". They were the ones that would suffer horrendous damage and loss of life in such a conflict. Thus it was figured that paying for the weapons and other expenses of such a conflict w as the "least we could do.

Here is Chris Coons advocating for troops in Ukraine. 2:00 mark.

He says we do not want Ukraine to turn into another Syria. I do not recall us sending troops there either though idiot neocons wanted that.

So the standard is that anywhere in the world there is genocide or human suffering the US military is obligated to intervene?

We did nothing when civil wars raged in Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Mozambique. When white people in Ukraine are getting killed it is a international emergency. We could have done good in those countries with just 5000 troops and did not bother so let's fight Russia!

    By ourselves!

White nations were never going to send a bunch of white soldiers to get involved in a conflict between blacks.

    Gee I wonder why?

The United Nations peacekeeping troops were stationed in Rwanda as part of UNAMIR (United Nation Assistance Mission For Rwanda). Canadian Lieutenant General Romeo Dallaire was in charge of the 2,548 peacekeepers stationed in Rwanda. On January 12th, 1994, Dallaire sent an urgent telegram to his superiors that said that he had found 4 weapons caches and plans to exterminate Tutsi and that the situation he was in was increasingly hostile. He also told them that he was going to seize the weapons caches. Their immediate response was that he can't do that because that those actions were outside the mandate given to UNAMIR. The assassinations of several Tutsi and moderate Tutsi caused Dallaire to send peacekeepers to protect Prime Minister Agathe Uwilingiyimana. The peacekeepers were attacked by Rwandan government troops and eventually surrendered their weapons. The 5 Ghanaian peacekeepers were released, but the 10 Belgian peacekeepers were tortured and killed.

Look up the meaning of the word: 'leadership'

NATO is as strong as it ever has been. Biden has appointed good people to NATO, Ukraine and Europe, and backed them up.

While Europe has ramped up slower than we have, we are once again leaders of the Free World. Finland and Sweden will prob become NATO members this summer.

I know how you hate good news, but there it is. It's called success.

How is NATO as strong as ever? Because a senile pos is now president? Appointed good people? He would not be able to pick them out of a lineup. Under the last president we did not have Ukraine invaded. So your idea of success is having Russia invade Ukraine and we do all the spending to help Ukraine fight them?

Why are we obligated to provide 70% of the security for rich white European countries? Why are we obligated to provide 2/3 of the military assistance for Ukraine in a European conflict?

It's not NATO it is the European union. All those countries in Europe should be doing their share to help Ukraine and keep this war isolated. Now Biden wants to put troops in there.

I think we should be giving them more. We should be assisting with a no fly zone as well. Hell, I would be okay if we threw ground troops in. European countries are European. They always have been slow to act. They’re spending should be more for sure but I still support what we are doing.

Did a poster just insist that Biden is a leader? He needs to be told by his wife to wave at an Easter egg ceremony.

We should be deescalating this conflict and working to end it. Under no circumstances should Americans be fighting directly with Russians.

You said nothing why other than you like who the president is. What is your definition of strong? We pay for their security so they pay nothing? I'm sure they would love that.

Is being more dependent on Russian energy being strong? Russia invaded Ukraine again under that strong leadership.

    This is strong leadership?

Your wife has to remind you to wave at an Easter egg ceremony? Strong!

Keeping in mind Putin helped himself to Crimea under this "strong" leadership.
