I wonder if Ginsburg should have resigned before the 2014 elections while Obama was President and the Dems still held the Senate.

    She should have yes.

Now she will retire in the middle of Trumps second term unless she can't continue on that long.

She sure gonna try! 85 now. She'll be 91 by the start of Pence's first term.

She said she will retire at 90 and she's 86 right now I believe.

She has hired staffers only up to that point.

    March 15, 1933 (age 85 years)

So 90 comes up in the 2023.

Yeah I knew it was somewhere around there.

The next president will definitely get a pick though.

Justice Ginsburg shouldn't be pressured to resign or to stay on. She's a free American like the rest of us and can pick her own path. The more important concern is the unconstitutional threat of court packing. Justices will always come and go. But the threat of violating the concept of separation of powers in order to create a Judicial branch that will serve the interests of the Executive and Legislative branches is more serious than the career plans of a single Justice. It cannot be allowed to happen regardless of what party it benefits.

They were so certain they would retain the WH. They already had a dirty plan in place. They are still shocked that it failed.

Liberals plan to do just that, what we need are Constitutional judges.

If the GOP picks up a couple Senate seats. Her replacement will be Amy Barrett.

And a month later the GOP continues to drop behind in House races.

Republicans are even losing their most staunch supporters with their childish antics during the Kavanaugh hearings.

"Bleep, bloop, bleep", NPC character strikes again.

The truth is, since all of the Kav stuff, Trumps approval has gotten better, Republicans approval has gotten better, senate races for Republicans have gotten better.

Even so, Draco, you epitomize an NPC, Trump's spread of dislike is solid and rests at 51.2%, and this before his mouth screws himself up next week, and Mueller waiting to piggyback his Surprise on top of that.

Is it just me or does Hillary's landslide seem a lot bigger than the blue wave?

It won't happen, it has very low popularity.

Even FDR's own people turned on him when he tried it.
