    How do I display my patriotism? I've said on this forum before that unlike your hero draft dodger Trump, I attempted to enlist in the military in my youth but failed the medical exam. That was nearly 50 years ago.

    Doing better doesn’t equate to being entitled to something no one is willing to pay for. It’s kinda like those worthless degrees in African studies, you could be the foremost expert in sun saharan pottery, but if there’s no market for it then so what? If Rapinoe doesn’t feel appreciated at her current job she’s free to find another. I guess you also diagree with that because you feel she’s entitled to something no one feels she’s worth. The good news is you can hire her to kick balls across your lawn. How much is that worth to you and what if she wants more?

    The thought that I was attacking you personally shows the real snowflake in you.

    The problem with your way of thinking is that I can turn down a job that doesn't meet my financial expectations, but not everyone can, or will. It's happening in nursing where new grads are taking bottom of the barrel wages just to get their foot in the door. That ends up dragging us more experienced nurses down because employers then get content paying $16 of $18 per hour. So, if I leave my $40 per hour job in this market, I am unlikely to match that in my next one, and I would be replaced by someone earning less than $20.

    Let's be real honest here, Steve. Employers don't pay people what they are worth, they pay the lowest that the lowest applicant will accept, then claim that is the average wage (so they can then pay even lower).

    This is the dying gasp of Capitalism. We are 2nd Century Rome but we have forgotten world history.

    We've gone through this enough times so I won't be learning anything. Bottom line is, however, that if traitor Bush hadn't lied there would not have been a war and ISIS would have been dead.

    No, he didn't. He rightfully earned a deferment while a student at Oxford. By the time he returned Vietnam was nearly over. He reported to the draft board but wasn't selected. He never requested, or received, a medical waiver.
