He claimed he was on the phone when attacked. The CPD asked for phone, he refused they got records from phone company he then gave them a screenshot of his phone records. With phone numbers redacted, they compared the phone numbers redacted to ones on his phone records. Then they found the brothers (The ones redacted by Jussie) had left hours after the attack to go Nigeria. When they came back Police were waiting for them at customs.

One of the brothers was Jussie's personal trainer and both friends on his social media.

 

So how did they get the names and numbers of the Nigerians?

 

They live in the US permanently, they got the number from Jussie's phone company and then once they had the number they had the name. Passport control and simple flight search and they knew when they flew out and more importantly when they were coming back.

 

Yeah, that'll be the worst case scenario if he's involved.

But ultimately, the most bizarre and tragic element of this whole circus is the RW extremist reaction to it.

The RW bigot almost invariably cries "Hoax!" when something happens which reveals the sick, twisted mindset of their ilk, and they begin (or to be more accurate, continue) ranting against the minority group to which the victim belongs.

Basically, a modern-day virtual lynching of the victim which occurs again and again and again daily.

Incredibly sick & destructive behavior.

And of course in those rare instances when the incident they claimed was a hoax actually turns out to be one (as perhaps in this case), they use this as further basis for & reinforcement of their sick, illogical ranting and hatred.

Like many a fraudulent *psychic* they then endlessly crow about the rare hoax cases in which their sick attacks on a victim make them feel justified in their 24/7 lynch-minded bigotry.

All while ignoring the 99%+ of instances when they cried "Hoax!" but were merely reacting out of their sickness and ignorance.

They don't apologize for the 99%+ of instances in which they unjustifiably spewed illogical hate.

They never learn.

They don't want to learn.

They're proud of their twisted ignorance & illogical hate.

My understanding was he was on the phone to his manager or agent and that person in fact heard the attack going on.

Why did the police then investigate his call records? Why did they ask for his phone anyway?

This is standard, because he said he was on the phone at the time. If he hadn't he might well have got away with it. Skin colour had nothing to do with that.
