    Got away with what, being mugged? If I'm on the phone to my wife and two guys attack me why do I have to surrender my phone with my entire life on to the police because she hears me being beat up?

    They were very considerate muggers. They didn't even hit him in the face, steal his phone or sandwich or anything else, for that matter. Who would have guessed that racists and homophobes were so gentlemanly in the commission of a hate crime?

    You have two choices: You can believe he was attacked at 2AM in sub zero weather by two guys who knew who he was, knew he was gay, knew he was on a TV show, and knew where he'd be at that time. Or you can believe Smollett's story. But then you'd have to explain why his Nigerians friends shouted MAGA, why they had a rope and a receipt for it, why two muscular guys only put a scratch on his face in a surprise ambush attack, etc.

    Well at least whites can't complain about getting representation when it comes to hate crimes because they seem to be the only people getting any representation.... funny that. On top of that, we have hundreds of fake hate crimes blown up by the media.... HUNDREDS OF DOCUMENTED INSTANCES. I have provided the link for your perusal.
    If this isn't propaganda made to scare minorities and make them think whites are actively hunting them.... then what is it? How many hoaxes are required before skepticism is allowed??? 1,000? 10,000?

    If we go the FBI hate crime statistics, we see that blacks are statistically more likely to be involved with hate crimes. When we look at hate crimes that end in murder we see that blacks are statistically 5 times more likely to be involved than whites. Can you explain why you seem to believe that only whites are involved in hate crimes when the FBI indicates that they are less likely to involved in that kind of behavior?

    Stealing a phone is a sure way to have the police track you down. Not even I would eat a stranger's sandwich and what else did he have? A mugging is not generally that well planned and even less something carefully executed

    mugging usually consist of something being stolen its the motive behind the mugging not putting a rope around someone's neck and pouring bleach on them
