A little bit of this is decent argument. There is no problem with me having women in congress. I assume once there they try to shed bias and do what is right. I recall that law you praise. But I do not recall the pro and con arguments.

What is sad is Democrats lie to their subjects.

A great woman lives in TX and back in the 1990s she posted on a forum that a poster here on this forum once posted with me on. I don't know if he recalls her but she was lucky to escape being aborted. Today she has children and a husband and is a graduate of a major TX university who works as a broadcaster on TV,. She used to speak up for the unborn a lot. She met her actual birth mom who did put her up for adoption. She is so thankful she lived.

Maybe you have no children. I have sired 2 adult women children who are excellent women and human beings. They did very well having me as their father. I have reviewed the Ledbetter law.

All it did is change dates. The law was she could file and had 180 days to file from the commission of the act.
Now she has 180 days from her discovery of the act. So it extended her time to sue the employer.

It is really not all that remarkable.

They could have passed a much more far reaching law that applied to many many more cases.
