The key point is that regardless of whether the factual circumstances involving Willis and Wade give rise to separate ethical concerns with respect to his hiring, such questions do not affect the propriety of the prosecution against Roman and his co-defendants. Questions about gifts and related matters go to Willis’s and Wade’s obligations to the Fulton County District Attorney’s office, and have no connection to assuring the defendants a fair trial.

 

Tomorrow is the deadline for her written response. The hearing is on the 15th. But that gives the defense time to read her written response and plan how they want to handle the hearing.

The defense is going to claim that this is both a selective and politically motivated prosecution by a couple of corrupt prosecutors who should be removed from the case. Their character and ethics on the handling of this case will contribute to that allegation. It's extremely rare to have prosecutors removed from cases so it's always a long shot. However, Fani was removed from an investigation regarding the same events with a prior defendant for a political conflict of interest, and no other prosecutor found criminal charges for these events were warranted for doing what these defendants have done.

Wade finally agreed to quit trying to shaft his wife, and paid her what she deserved in the divorce, and got Fani off the hook on the demand to testify in court about the exact nature of her sexual relationship with Mrs. Wade's husband.

But Fani still has to explain to another Court why she is having a sexual relationship with the special prosecutor she hired to go after Trump.
