It is silly to wear them outside while exercising. Ventilation is the enemy of COVID. At your rallies and during your looting activities, though, they should be worn. (I'm not accusing you of looting...lol)

I don't feel safer when I wear a mask, but I do feel a bit safer when I'm in the grocery store and everyone else is wearing a mask, too.

When I see people wearing them in the car, while alone, I do scratch my head and wonder what guidance they were given.

Because they don't need to test as much. The positive rate in this country is 5.2% while it's 1.3% in Canada.

The "positive rate" is the percentage of tests saying the subject has COVID-19.

Our high positive rate suggests we're missing people. Think about it.

The problem seems to be you're predisposed to defending Trump at all costs.

Canada has a federal system, too, and their provinces have arguably more rights under their constitution than our states have under ours. Their Prime Minister Trudeau came up with a national plan, got the provincial governments onboard with agreed national standards, and then their provinces implemented their own plans to meet those standards.

The economic recovery is stalling out because a significant percentage of people aren't willing to go out and spend money when there are new COVID-19 cases in their community. We need to keep the case count down if we're going to get close to normal.

I don't care if he was trying to keep people calm, or manipulate them for his perceived benefit, or something else--he chose to lie to the American people and the results have been disastrous.

I am sure we are...we can't test everyone....but at least we are testing a LOT more then any other nation. Can you imagine how many Canada is missing by not testing? These not testing policy might make things look good (and that's the Biden plan) but it's not healthy

Canada has a low positive rate on tests ... meaning they aren't missing many people. We have a much higher positive rate suggesting we're missing more than they are.

British Columbia struggled getting some testing supplies early on, but soon they were checking everyone with any symptom.

 

I know...they haven't really tested since April..meanwhile Trump ramped it up
