As more and more Americans are sucking any number of the federal government teats, no matter if the teats are producing direct welfare or sub-contacts or gov jobs, as this percentage of Americans increases, at some point, which I believe we have passed, so many Americans are dependent on the federal government that the US government must be sustained at current, and higher levels forever.

This means IMO any idea of reducing government size, or ending deficit spending, or reducing debt is out of the question...assuming we don't have massive tax revenue increases.

Here's partly the reason why I say this; As voters have discovered that they can vote themselves support from the public treasury, from that moment on, the majority will vote for candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury. This smacked me in the forehead the other night hearing Bernie Sanders promise one FREE federal program after another with no discussion how to fund them. One he mentioned was free college education to everyone! Great, but how will it be funded? Great...how many will vote for Sanders assuming he can deliver?

How long under this governance, with sloppy fiscal policy, will it take for the US to collapse?

I was talking about the USA...our fiscal sloppiness...our continued deficit spending and debt...and how this will play out? Greece cannot print money like the US...
