It is most unfortunate what the right has done with the courts, they have taken a very highly rated and respected part of our government and made it when the average American sees it as nothing but another political body.

The only positive is that their rulings that precedent means nothing means when a few conservative justices “retire” then substantial changes can be made through that same court.

You cannot demonstrate how the argument presented by the court in Dobbs can be honestly applied to Heller, et al.

You misunderstand context. Yes, there are handguns, but to get your hands on one takes many hoops to jump through and considerable time....months.

 

I read the OP when it was posted. The Judge only said that the right to bear arms does not vest at age 21. He did not state (in the OP) at what age the right DOES vest.

 

Again, they have to have parental consent and it looks like court permission under the age of 18.

Since you have now interjected I will ask you the same question — What does this have to do with new legislation such as completely eliminating the minimum age? Do you think this is a good policy?
