Yes. Vast majority wants to do something about the killings, while at the same time retain the right for law abiding citizens to own guns. We should not pretend the to are mutually exclusive, because they are not. Background checks, which we already have is a common sense thing to do. There is no need for blanket bans of any kind of firearms, as long as we keep them away from criminals and in sane people.
