Not even close chief. It must have taken an awful lot to throw that random nonsense into the conversation.

In post #430 in this thread, you said the following:

I guess others can decide just what you meant...

Strange, I could've swore that the POTUS is 'black'(or at least, for political purposes), he appointed two back-to-back attorney generals that are black, etc.

I think it proves opportunity's abound for anyone, now go grasp it grasshopper!

And you were present during the 50's and 60's so you know so much about them??

Of course you know more than someone who lived through them...young people are born knowing everything AND EVERYONE :roflol:

May I quote "someone" ? """You are speaking from your own generation, and that's all you know. """

:roflol: I am speaking from both generations , both of which I have lived through...you haven't

Don't know what your point is if you had one but I stated: "Quote Originally Posted by FoxHastings View Post

.....and have never stated anything else....if YOU don't understand , that isn't my problem...

The POTUS is black and white, not black. The two back to back attorney generals weren't brought up in projects. Big difference!

So, fix the projects? As people should know, I finally made my move(and along with my trip to Lower Merion a few months ago) I have to say I'm rather stunned by the very big differences there can be in two different counties. Bucks County is beautiful as wine, and I'm stoked. So, why are there differences between an affluent part of the region and a crappy part?

Racialism? Not in my opinion. Cultural value has a BIG part of it. The city I largely lived in and got my HS Education from(before taking online college courses) had city government in-fighting for many years and it failed to take political advantage of its transportation hub, as well as relative closeness to a major airport/hotel(They were only 10-15 MINS from the Philly INTL. Airport).

Should've been REAL easy to attract businesses and to build up the cultural standards there. I know I could've easily installed major policies to change the city. But moving solved alot of those issues and I can focus on such low areas while focusing on my new district at the same time.(PS: I was born in North Philadelphia. So I've lived in "poverty"(though my family made sure I didn't know it) for most of my life.) So I'm far from spoiled.

I'm a young warrior who understands what it takes politically, and I will not let politics of the past influence awful decisions over the past 30 years. If I grew up in "Liberal, multicultural America" then I have first hand experience of all of its warts and I also know you can't blame them on right-wing conspiracies but just perhaps, there may be a flaw with government in some areas rather than others.

There's also an inherent flaw within human beings(especially criminal ones) and maybe we just can't allow them to mingle within our group.

His point is, you only view things from that one generation. You have no appreciation of the progress that was made.(Hint: Was made, until tensions have been stoked over the years. Now, whose responsible for THAT propaganda? No, not the Republicans. A certain someone wanted to install his "legacy" among his community, instead of being the Nation's president).

Well, he has his legacy-defining moments and thanks to them, you can be sure that a great deal of Americans will be looking for record and substance, not just rhetoric. I love how he backtracked on the message of his 2008 campaign, bemoaning how "hard" it would be in spite of heavily campaigning on it.(The 16 year old me supported him, who would've thunk).

It wasn't hard, Mr. President you just didn't try. And you sure as hell weren't sincere. Youth enthusiasm for politics may very well decrease, because while it's been my life I can't say the same for most of my generation. My generation(I'm born in 92) is propelled by ideals, by dreams, by hopes. Having had those hopes crushed and realizing the infancy of their political views, the youth vote may be lower than both parties expect.

Lol! He is a black man! There are plenty of other black people in government as well, so you are wrong!

You are out of touch. Most younger people are not racist.

Exactly, great post! That's "she" though. Not everyone who participates in these forums is a man. Some of us are women.

People on the left always INSIST that racism is rampant in this country. I don't know if they think their fellow Americans are rotten people, if they are just pessimistic, or if perhaps they spend too much time on forums such as this. I think they are projecting a lot of the time too.

:) So you're young and have been in touch? ??? With what? texting? When? The last 20 years? :) an imperceptible blip in time.....but you go ahead and keep believing nothing happened until the day you were born....it makes you look so "smart"...not smart enough to address what was in my posts however .....

I see you're still a raving sexist...just gotta know people's sex so you can do your stereotyping :)

And I think racists protest too much ;)

Learn to use the quote function before being so critical of others. Race had zero to do with this case.

Ya know, you two shouldn't really judge all old people based on your parents and grandparents....there ARE smart old people, people who have lived through things that only you can read about . You can't help your "naivete" ...young people need a certain amount of "blindness" or they'd give up from the get go....but you know that from being able to see the future LOL!

People perhaps do go into things, especially at a young age with a since of naivete and innocence. Sometimes, having those crushed will allow a stronger, wiser person. But having attended the same classes as many of my peers, I know this generation to be especially apolitical. After "hope and change" has become such a dramatic failure, I think the ranks of independents and disaffecteds will rise significantly.

I was indeed able to see the future, that's why after the President signed the largest pork barrel spending bill in 2009, I knew he was a crock. When Chris Matthews called those who were against the ACA racist, I knew this would be the defining belief of the Obama Democrats, and I was right.

I've been right the entire time during these 7 years, not once have I ever been wrong on the disaster that's been this administration. And I highly doubt I will be. I'll predict the future and say we won't like the next President either.

I mean, the pool is unspectacularly bad and is worse than 2012. If Romney ran today, I would vote for Mitt Romney. The geopolitical situation being unclear as it is, we do need a war-time President and Romney would be just that.

If you can see the future you must have won a lot on the Kentucky Derby ...........and know who the next President will be and , of course, you have enlisted.

    Two things about that:

A: I have CP, Asthma and hearing loss. I will probably NEVER be accepted, even if I did enlist.
B: This will sound hypocritical of me, but I'm anti-putting myself in a body bag for governmental purposes.

This in spite of wanting to be the Commander in Chief. Oh well, my personal opinions won't get in the way of neutral and necessary policy. Business has to remain neutral, and I'm a businessman at heart.
