    How? Until just recently, both houses and the presidency were controlled by Democrats. Are you suggesting the NRA owns the Democrat party and it's elected officials? How could they silence research without owning those who vote on such things? Plus I don't think the NRA sells guns, so I don't see how protecting the second amendment enriches them.

    I cannot open your link, maybe because of my adblockers. However I will say that if the NRA is "banning" anything the CDC wants to do, then that indicates a failure of our governance. How does the NRA have the power to dictate what the CDC does? Who, in our government, is afraid of a lobby group? And why, if they are bought, do they continue to hold office?

    It is precisely because people will blindly check a D or an R straight ticket when they bother to go vote, rather than picking individual people of integrity who AREN'T bought and paid for. If you lament the power that lobby groups wield over YOUR representatives, then I submit that YOUR representatives (and by proxy YOU) are directly to blame, not the lobbyists.

    I'll take a stab at this one (pun intended)...But you will probably just dismiss it as a right wing website. First when comparing the number per capita of mass shootings (4 or more killed) between the US and Europe...The US ranks 9th...See report here:

    Of course he does as the last remnant of the 'thin red line' has faded into obscurity to whereas now they are merely an 'outpost' for the Muslims. The British were once men......long ago. The Brits will be screaming for another Lend/Lease for weapons in a few years once the Muslims start to implement Sharia law there, or is it too late now?

    Life for me didn't change much from Bush to Obama. It dramatically changed from Clinton to GW. The GOP will win this one and likely not a damn thing will change.
    Unrealistically I hope a third contender emerges. I'm not holding my breath. In 30 years the Hispanics will be large and in charge. I think they will be more scrupulous handling finance and freedom in the US.
