Those voters will vote for Stein, who mirrors Sanders ideology stance for stance, but does not have Clinton baggage. No reason at all for a Sanders voter to choose Libertarian over Green Party.

gary is for trade so his libertarian votes would have went democrat if he was out of the race.

social issues aren't as important as economic issues, everyone cares more about their money than anything else.

Trump is going to lose badly completely on his own merits.

the millennials seem to be led by a fear of racism to support the interests of the rich, since they are in college debt and/or without living wage work.

millennials seem inexperienced and ignorant, in England they were saved by the older generation who voted out of the union which outsourced their jobs.

Will any Trump supporter ever admit that Trump is losing the election all by his lonesome? Scapegoating is a symptom of a dysfunctional family. Do Trump supporters all come from addictive, dysfunctional families?

Again the polls split it even but it likely varies a good bit from state to state. By the way anyone thinks libertarians are conservative anything is ignorant as hell of what conservatism and libertarianism actually are. Put it this way they agree with Democrats on far more issues than they agree with conservatives and their views on Islamic terrorism are border line insane.

None the less, many of the conservatives I know are talking about Johnson.

I was at a function last night where a lot of former Bernie supporters were present. Not one of them mentioned Gary Johnson.

They're also promoting a new fantasy in which ex Sanders supporters are going to vote for Gary Johnson. Just as they once promoted the idea that Sanders supporters were going to become Trumpsters.

And they're trying to ignore the obvious reality that a lot of potential votes for Johnson are protest votes against Trump.

I don't think these people have the slightest clue what the average Sanders voter is. He is not looking for Non-Clinton solutions just because they are Non-Clinton's solutions, or anti-establishment solutions because they are anti-establishment solutions, he is looking for progressive pro-worker anti-corporate solutions in the framework of a left of center pro-union, pro-environmental, pro-campaign finance reform, anti -poverty platform. They actually like Sanders ideas, not just his Brooklyn accent and what he said about Hillary Clinton's policies and activity.

They are not going to forget their lifelong ideological an political beliefs for the convenience of Donald Trump's fantasy.

    They don't.

Their fantasy was based on the thin notion that Trump and Sanders were interchangable because they are "anti establishment".

Of course, in reality, Sanders and Trump Re polar opposites. One has always been an idealist and a public servant. The other is a spoiled rich kid who is entirely self obsessed.

Dude they all know you're a Hillary die hard by now they aren't going to tell you anything one way or the other. It's not worth the aggravation. I've seen a lot of cars with Bernie stickers on them, I see almost no cars with Hillary stickers and none with both Hillary and Bernie stickers, make of that what you will. They very few I've talked to seem more likely to stay home election day and smoke a joint than they are to vote for any of those left.

Yeah an Idealist and a public servant who just bought his third mansion, and you, of course, can't see the hypocrisy in that. Sadly neither can he.

The Libertarian Party is a social liberal party and polls indicate Gary Johnson will pull more votes from Hillary Clinton than from Donald Trump.

Of course because Gary Johnson has now been subjected to political censorship by being omitted from the Presidential Debates he won't received a significant percentage of the vote anyway.

The Independents are going to be the deciding factor in this election and the fact is that Independents are going to find it almost impossible to vote for Donald Trump. He's a racist, a failed corporate executive that's driven corporations into bankruptcy four times, he has no experience in government, and he has virtually no knowledge about anything of importance to America.

This doesn't even consider the fact that up to about 20% of Republican are not going to vote for Trump either. Trump is only polling at 79% with registered Republicans.

I'm seeing Johnson all over FNC: interviews, pieces on, town halls, panels, and being pushed by their libertarians, Stossel, Kennedy, et al.

Supporting a racist isn't all that popular in the United States although no one's car should be vandalized just because they support racism.

We haven't reached the first presidential debate yet and when we do Johnson will basically fall out of the political limelight. We saw that in 2012 and it will happen again this year. Only the candidates in the Debates get front page coverage.

I'm a card carrying Libertarian that will be voting for Johnson but I've seen this happen before.

Hillary Clinton isn't being supported by virtually every White Male Supremacist and White Nationalist in America while Donald Trump is.

I think I just scratched your secret fear... Actually I've read your posts and made a deduction...You have to remember most people in this world aren't like you and I and they prefer the line of least resistance. We rather enjoy confrontation at least on line, most people don't.
