I confess that I have no idea how well or poorly those who hold the jobs that Trump has sent to China, Mexico, and Bangladesh are being treated.

Your implication is that a "good" version of Donald Trump would not have outsourced jobs, which would have rendered him uncompetitive, so that his business is less profitable than others who do.

So since that is what a "good" person would have done, why has our government made trade deals that ensure all "good" business owners are necessarily less successful than the "bad" ones? Shouldn't government be promoting "good" over "bad"?

MAYBE Trump wanted to be good. But we know for sure that establishment politicians set it up so that he would lose money if he tried to be good. The people you support.
