I really hate to beeach' about the forum I so love (its my absolute favorite among many). Most of the mods are helpful, well I have only had one that is not helpful and is rather unhelpful, all the rest are superb even when they critique me or take a action against me, I have deserved all ! Ha ahhhhh’. Sadly I must say that the forum is again getting real slow. I have a cable modem as well as a satellite modem so I do not think it’s a local problem. When I attempt to edit or a page transition but mostly edit the forum draggggggggs so slowly for the last week that I fear the time limit will expire! I have tried to go back to e mail and ping another subject but I get a blank page and sometimes the dreaded error code. Any ideas why this is going on? Is it a virus on my computer or something wrought by a POed member? My sometimes abrasive style does make me some enemies.. SO what’s up? Thanks again to the web master owner and mods (save for one grouch) for the fantastic site and staff. Rev A
The problem's not on your end, Rev. Same thing here. Even got the dreaded DATABASE ERROR earlier tonight. Find myself posting real fast so I can get in a thought before I get locked out! SOMEBODY FIX IT!!!! (please?)
We might have idea as to what is causing it. However, it is going to require your patience to enable us to fix the problem. This won't be fixed overnight, that's why we need you all to remain patient and let us sort it out. We are working on it.
I haven't been on much in a couple of months. I tried on and off for an hour this evening to get on. I got the same "data base" error message. I am sure the owner is doing what she can to get us back on track. I see our list of "who's online" is gone again. Some things just lag us down. It is frustrating though.

There's nothing you can do to help at the moment, Krane. It has nothing to do with the server, and donations won't help at this stage. Hopefully we'll get it sorted, but again, it will take time, so stick with us while we work things out.
Why thank you very much. I just bought a brand new HP with 6 gigs and it does everything but household chores. I was on a high when I got it all hooked up and ready to come back online. I tried signing on today and almost gave up. I finally got through and was happy it wasn't my old beast that finally died after 7 yrs...LOL. I know Mak would love credits more than anything but she just wants to get on and have fun with the rest of us!!! I know we are by far the best political forum out there. I am also confident that the owner is actively trying all she can do to keep us in tip top shape. Can you imagine handling a site of this magnitude? Lord have mercy, there is a lot of data saved.

I love this place. It's my fave site ever. I started my site as a companion site (not competition) for when we can't get in - so we can communicate. Big though this site is, the regulars are like a big family - ALL of us.
Haven't run into you either, RevA. Nice to 'see' ya! Prob the best thing we can do for the mods is try to keep from driving them crazy! Just think, if everybody followed the rules, they'd have nothing to do! (LOL, yeah like that's gonna happen!) Good to see ya, JF! And also good to hear the problem's being narrowed down.
