Haven't you heard? What's important about Dementia Joe Biden is his current degree of brain power . . . or the blatantly obvious lack of it. Kamala is rubbing her hands together just waiting to be declared president within months after Biden takes the oath of office . . . with his wife not so subtly telling him what to do on stage and then leading him off afterwards lest he wander around in front of the cameras while trying to figure out where he is and what he is doing. Relax. We both know that 'business is business' GOPers do not have the spine to do to Biden what the Dem Party AND their media outlets did to Trump. So this is all in fun on my part. Sure there will be post election grumbling from the GOP's leadership but I expect mostly they will all present themseves to the DNC in an orderly manner and then bend over and grab their ankles. It's become the GOP tradition. I don't foresee any meaningful changes now.

 

Biden is generally liked in the Senate, plus, he's a Blue Dog, so I'm expecting moderation, generically speaking.

I don't like Trump; that's not a secret, but you are absolutely correct that team D didn't even give him 100 days. It's the patriotic thing to do, really, and they failed at that miserably.

Pelosi may be the least patriotic American in Congress. Her district will never oust her; we just have to wait for her to, well, die. Do you suppose there's any chance The House ousts her as leader? It could be seen as somewhat of an olive branch.

 

I don't like Pelosi either, but it's not fair to blame her. She opposed the early calls for impeachment and was cautious when she did impeach. It was the left wing of the party causing problems, and I doubt they'll change their tune. Thankfully, Joe won't tolerate that nonsense.

 

She made no attempt whatsoever, to even pretend to care about extending a hand of cooperation. Part of being a politician is working with people you don't like, to find common ground.

Ripping up a speech at the State of the Union was about as tacky as a person can get. She has at least as much class as Trump. She's a mean, petty, hateful woman.

 

As far as Nancy goes, they should have set her out to pasture back in 2016 when she was still the minority party head of the House Democrats. She could have gone out on top and had an 'honorable' retirement. As it stands her ego and lust for power is going to end up having her forced by her own party to retire for the good of the party. Or at least that's how I'm seeing things. That . . . or she will simply keel over one day while shrieking in trained reflex, "Orange man bad!"

Trump had no such problems for three and a half years when -- coincidentally the Dem party was about to have their convention -- versus Obama who hosted major ones over the span of eight years. These riots under Trump were hosted for the last six months by the Dem Party's leadership as a deliberate political act of national sabotage.
