So Landru approves of a one party dictatorship here in the US. Thank you for your confirmation, Bolshevik Scumbag!
Let's see the richest states with the biggest economies are run by what party -- overwhelmingly so? BWHAHAHHAHAH! I love this inner city meme. It's not only **********y, it plays into the Tea Bag crypto racism.
Buffalo is no better off. The last time Buffalo had a Republican mayor was Chester Kowal and that was back in the early 1960s.
corporate greed & utter arrogance killed Detroit. when Americans were begging for better quality & more fuel efficient autos the CEO's said "**** & buy what we build or go somewhere else." well guess what? we did. we did go somewhere else & we lost the market. those same fat cats are all retired now & drinking umbrella drinks without a moments regret as to what they did when they bailed in their golden parachutes as the companies floundered & folded.
BINGO! See how the **********s work. The Big Lie. Conservative ineptitude and failed policies cause problems, and the Baggers blame everybody else. It's all they got. Total moral and political bankruptcy.
spiraling health care costs contributed tremendously. foreign automakers are all recipients of nationalized health care & it doesn't reflect in the cost of a vehicle from overseas. let's not get into the $100 hr. UAW lie again. it's been disproved a thousand times.
Tell us of one non-Democrat who was mayor or city council in Detroit for the past 20 years.... Ready Go!
Oh, so workers from other places would do the job for cheaper? What is that called? Competition. Why do liberals hate competition so much? It's because they can't handle the heat. Your worst assembly line worker makes the same as your best.
I can prove that all the leadership for the last 2 decades was Democrats... and you want to blame someone else. You lose. Corporate Greed? GM would have went out of business if the tax payers had not bailed them out due to union costs. You are totally full of crap.
All the leadership? What the hell are you perseverating about now? Man, this is your brain on Obamaphobia.
There is so much wrong with the above piece it is impossible to begin to correct the historical inaccuracies. Nothing particularly disturbing? Has she heard about Lyndon Johnson and the Viet Nam war? She mentions the Pentagon Papers, but anyone who has read them knows they're as much about the Democrats deliberate violation of the law in waging that war. has anyone told her that her boss is on the ropes, losing ground against one of the weakest fields of candidates the GOP has ever put forward? I'm glad she doesn't work for me....
Not really. The most popular autos in the US are not the fuel efficient, but big, lumbering, gas guzzling SUV's. Japan took over the market on price and features, not fuel efficiency.
Too bad in all this back and forth on auto makers you guys failed to mention that alot of them are built....here, with american jobs, but oh no...they all aren't unionized, duh. If detroit wasn't asleep at the wheel for so long, and the unions not so demanding, they would have been in a better situation. But lets not also forget who bailed them out, with our money, gave the bond holders the middle finger, and part ownership to the unions. See, in the america I know, your allowed to fail, allowed to go belly up. That is unless your a supporter of a democrat, then they will dip into the public trough to shore up their cronies that funnel some of that public money back into liberal coffers. A giant money laundering machine is all it is. Just for the record, I don't condone this when Repubs do it either. Obama has put croney capitalism into warp drive.
you're talking to Noah about the flood. I remember the first real gas crunch [Carter] & I remember cars like the Chevy Vega that seized up after 30k miles. I recall Datsuns & VW's that kicked Detroit's ass. I also remember the last gas crunch [Bush] & all the SUV's on the car lots with "W" stickers on them that they couldn't give away.
And Only a regressive would claim Obama's approval rating is under 20%. However I do agree that as long as the GOP continues to kneel before the open zippers of the richest few % of americans, the money they earn will enable them to continue to wrap policies that clearly benefit first, wealth preservation and then expansion (as opposed to creation) in populist rhetoric. the current wealth gap is as great as it was in the golden age of the robber barons. Now that's an accomplishment the republicans can be proud of.
