I haven't heard this "goodbye GOP" bit since the dems got their asses beat like a rented mule in the mid term elections. It seems to be a reoccurring fantasy of the left to write off conservatives every six months or so. Considering the sad shape Obama is in it seems especially funny and ironic to be burying the GOP.

Ya, weren't they talking about a GOP ice age after the election of Barry Obama?

Obama is looking at being a one term president, and some how the other guys are in danger.

Lol, talk about delusional Obama boot licker syndrome.

Wow, now there's a freakin' surprise, a liberal playing the race card when no one even mentioned race...you did.

    That's just disgusting

There was no "gas crunch" when the Vega came out, in around 1970. Gas was $.25 a gallon and the Vega was answer to the Pinto. The "gas crunch" was your buddy Jimmy Carter's nightmare and Japanese cars were just starting to make inroads.

Japanese car makers did not win a big share of the North American Auto Market until much later and, as I pointed out and you ignored, they did it on price...they could afford to sell for less as they weren't paying those hefty pensions the unions had extorted out of Detroit....you know the ones like the UAW, Democrat all the way.

Foreign owned autos have been built in the US since the early '80s. Health care has nothing to do with it. Obama propped up an inferior competitor to companies that have been providing jobs in the US for decades. While I understand that the government doesn't know how to allow the market to actually build wealth and that might be the only motive, the resulting deals that were given to bond holders versus employee unions were very telling. Most Japanese auto companies are non union, thank goodness.

Absolutely wrong. The trend in the Republican party is that those who support the primaries also support the candidate, unlike the Democrats.

The graph is stupid as it compares Obama's presidential bid, which even the White House admits is 30% behind, against a primary run.

Further, donations do not always transfer into votes...as Owebama supporters should know.

But it was a nice try.....when you can't win the debate with facts, lie, when the lie doesn't work, play the race card, if that doesn't work, attack your opponent....

    Democrat campaign strategy

I can understand your reluctance to get into a debate on the UAW and its featherbedding, it's the deepest scar on the Democrat record.

And Noah? The flood waters receded a loooooooooooooooooooong time ago. Your knowledge of history is corrupted by all that Kool aid you drink.

Again, there was no "gas crunch" when Chevy rolled out the Vega lemon...gas was selling for $.25 a gallon.

But you just keep on paddling that big boat there fella....

That is a lot like fantasy football, wishful thinking instead of reality. The polls prove the Congress is hated and BoBo is not far above them. This is the same pretense the left used last summer before the election when they pretended the lack of love for the republicans in congress indicated support for the dems in Congress.

We all saw how that conceit played out.

Thats exactly why they abandoned inner cities and is why they continue to do so. Democrats destroy any incentive for business with excessive taxes and regulations and then blame the business for leaving as if a business was run to serve the community and not to make a profit.
