It's different, no one is in the Canadian forum on this site trashing Canada and insulting Canadian politics :) On the other hand you do here!

Big difference! Out of curiosity, how do you justify commenting on another countries politics, insulting its President, his party and millions of American by proxy? What sort of person goes there, hangs out commenting on things they cant possible change citizen wise? How do you deny being different from the Russian trolls that waged a propaganda campaign against a certain party?

I don't get how you can separate your tactics from the other?

Yeah I'm sure if Trump and Putin had 50,000 back and forth texts about stopping Clinton from becoming POTUS you'd shrug your shoulders.

    **** with your nonsense.

Maybe he'll just hire Steve Doocey and Sean Hannity to run the DOJ. What the heck!

I admitted no such thing. Thus, since you have proven to be detached from reality in its entirety, I leave you to your wailing wall.

Strzok did well and helped to highlight just how much of a witch hunt is being conducted right now by the Republicans in service of their new emperor.

You can't help yourself with your fallacious whataboutery. When the usual suspects have absolutely nothing of substance the only thing they can do is pull this kinda crap out their appropriate orifices. The rrrwff library is full of such bumpersticker bullshit.

I thought you were the expert?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The chair recognizes the gentleman from Texas, Mr. Gohmert, for five minutes.

REP. LOUIE GOHMERT (R), TEXAS: Be right here.

    STRZOK: Sir.

GOHMERT: Mr. Strzok, you said earlier in this hearing you were concerned about a hostile foreign power affecting our election.

Do you recall the intelligence community inspector general, Chuck McCullough, having any investigation into an anomaly found on Hillary Clinton's e-mails?

    STRZOK: I do not.

GOHMERT: Well, let may refresh your recollection.

The intelligence community inspector general, Chuck McCullough, sent his investigator, Frank Rucker (ph), along with an ICIG attorney, Jeanette J. McMillian, to brief you and Dean Chapelle (ph) and two other FBI personnel that I won't name at this time about an anomaly they had found on Hillary Clinton's e-mails that were going to and from the private unauthorized server that you were supposed to be investigating.

    Now do you remember it?

STRZOK: I remember meeting Mr. Rucker on either one or two occasions. I do not remember the specific content of discussions of that...

    (CROSSTALK)

GOHMERT: Well, I will help you with that too then.

Mr. Rucker reported to those of you, the four of you there, in the presence of the ICIG attorney that they had found this anomaly on Hillary Clinton's e-mails going through her private server. And when they done the forensic analysis, they found that her e-mails,

every single one, except for four, over 30 000 of them, were going to win an address that was not on the distribution list.

It was a compartmentalized bit of information that was sending it to an unauthorized source. Do you recall that?

    STRZOK: Sir, I don't.

GOHMERT: Well, he went on to explain it. And you didn't say anything. You thanked him. You shook his hand.

But the problem was that it was going to an unauthorized source that was a foreign entity unrelated to Russia. And from what you have said here, you did nothing more than nod and shake the man's hand, when you didn't seem to be all that concerned about our national integrity of our election when it was involving Hillary Clinton.

So, the forensic examination was done by the ICIG -- and they can document that -- but you were given that information, and you did nothing with it.

In politics, timing is everything. If it revealed that one is into bestiality (as a far fetched example) the day after an election, then there is a chance a newly elected person may survive to be re-elected. If it happens 2 weeks before an election, then he is toast. The Republicans of the house are not idiots, well some of them are but not the leadership of the oversight committee, and releasing the Strozk testimony immediately after Mueller releases something will mitigate or eliminate the impact of anything Mueller comes up with. The House Democrats are not idiots either, well some of them are but not the leadership of the committees, and they may want the Strozk testimony released now, especially if it is damaging so that the forgetful public has a chance to forget about the drag Strozk is on any chances of Mueller's investigation having credibility.

We have no way of knowing what the truth is at this time, but I bring this up to urge caution in making inferences about what the wanting to release or not release the testimony may actually mean.

First if it was going to go to court it already would have. 2nd Trump is in place where the primary rules of the game involve double dealing and deceit on a grand scale. You don't want to think it is as bad as it is when you first get there, and it takes a while to adjust to the realities of the situation not the least of which is that you don't have near as much power as you think you do. Combine that with the number of positions that are available to be filled and you frankly are caught in severe time constraints and you quickly find yourself taking other people's recommendations. It is a situation fraught with possible problems and Trump has had to deal with most of them.

Which hearing did you watch or hear about???? Surely not the one where the clownish Democrats jumped up and applauded the arragant, condescendingg Strzok (no spectacle here, folks) and wanted to award him a purple heart, not to mention two ears and a donkey tail.

I'm wondering that myself. The Democrats and their supporters are braying about how well Strzok did and how he exposed the Republicans for their "witch-hunt" and all kinds of other claims I flat didn't see. What I saw was a true sociopath getting called on the carpet, the Democrats trying to protect him, and the Republicans getting justifiably frustrated with their behaviors.

The Democrats mjust really be desperate to try and rationalize this debacle as being some kind of a "win" for themselves....

My writing is my own it owes nothing to Bannon since I don't read him. What amazes me is the asinine need of the left to assume that everyone else is as desperately in need of talking point to formulate and opinion as they are.

It is intriguing is it not? It's like watching Palestinians talking about their latest victory over Israel when they gained not one of their strategic goals and lost 5 times as many combatants. The only people that can look at that travesty and not find the Dems to be acting like spoiled children are Democrat apparatchiks.

It's so obvious and simple to understand. The Left and the Democrats
are Anti-American.Like when their boy,Obama, made it a point when
speaking abroad to ALWAYS knock this country as If we are truly
flawed. What proveable balderdash. If not for the Creation of the United
States as superpower, who is and was committed to taking arms against
world strife as well most all natural disasters.
Except of course when Slick Willy { Bill Clinton } used as excuse
his Foundation to help In Haiti.

Maybe the bullfrog really does have wings and can fly instead of hop everywhere. Good Grief. Of course Strozk didn't care he was the one decided that what Hillary did was perfectly acceptable. Never mind that it was clearly in violation of the espionage act.

Dude was supposed to be running the Clinton investigation, the ICIG sends him forensic evidence, a tech to explain it and a lawyer and what did he do? Smile, nod, and show them the door, then do jack ****.

He did a stupid thing alright, but it wasn't limited to texting his bias to his mistress on their ****ing work issue phones. He also sat on official notice of serious evidence of a crime which endangers national security.
