I think it is dangerous to just assume Trump is a lout and is stupid, etc, and the republicans are using him to win their agenda. I think we must assume it's much more than that. I think someone will the needed knowledge should assemble all the evidence and details, from Trump's fondness for authoritarian leaders and his wishes to be like them, to the current state of capitalism and the crisis it's in around the world, efforts to dismantle the DOJ, offending our allies, threatening NATO, and everything else, and put together an analysis of where this is all headed and what the likelihood of it succeeding is. I think it's pretty scary stuff.

The USA we knew is coming to an end and no one seems to be able to stop it. Our Constitution has failed us each step of the way.
