With great power comes great responsibility. They knew that, they abused it.

Clearly they are dangerous individuals who pose harm to other humans with any level of authority.

 

So, besides race baiting, did you have a point here? The actions of these officers is abhorrent. Good they are going to be punished for their actions. Did you want to assert anything else?

I noticed that, for example, as a current event, you didn't bother to comment on the woman kept in a dog kennel by the three people who tortured her for days/weeks/months/years? No? I saw FAR more racist language and attitudes in Chicago when I moved there from Alabama (not Mississippi hope you got that by now) back in the mid-70's.

 

Yes. If, for the first time in US history, black cops had violated the need for a warrant and, without cause, captured and tortured white people while telling them to go back to their side of the river and slinging racist slurs at them, then yes, that would also be racist. How the **** do you disagree with that?

 

This "Back The Blue" thing is an Achilles heal for RP/conservatives.
I suppose critics of the police could admit that most cops are not racist thugs or scofflaws, but for those who want substantive reform that truth is an essentially irrelevant distraction from a focus on the full scope of the problem.
Serious Left sources are now freely admitting that the justice system is "a cesspool of partisanship". The serious anti-establishment 'smaller government "right" should respond -- "your right about that", and start looking for solutions.

IMO, the best way for the left and right to actually help The Blue would be to eliminate some of the laws that now push police into routine armed confrontations with millions of Americans. But then festering problems are politically expedient fundraising tools for party partisan.

Post the story about black cops, breaking into a home and torturing white men, including putting a gun in one of their mouths, for a mock execution, followed by actually firing off a round, in the white man's mouth. I promise, if you can find such a story, I won't call you racist.

I can find plenty of stories where black folks brutalize white people. But of course posting such things would make me racist and trying to make black people look bad.

 

We've had plenty of those stories here on the forums. I've responded to some. The difference being: it wasn't state actors. And, yes, that matters.
