It is not a question of whether you can find a story through your internet search, it is a question of statistics. We know that Asians have had a significant increase on hate crimes. We also know that Muslims have had the same thing in the 2000s and early 2010s. We also know that Hispanics from some conservative perspectives must be illegal if they "don't speak English." And if you post such things and just the article with no comment, generally you won't be called anything. But if you post your opinions that "blacks should not have any jobs other than menial labor jobs," then, as Jeff Foxworthy might say, "You might be a racist."

The main problem with the "R" word is that it has been overused by both sides of the political aisle in describing certain politicians as the R-word. Remember, not even the most die-hard Nazi believers ever called themselves racists. Not even the leader of the KKK or any other group that has used race-baiting tactics and such. Even if you read the Turner Diaries, no one was called that, not even the main character in the book by anyone, including himself.

I really think you are more than likely making excuses. What these 6 officers did was beyond reprehensible, to say the least. Getting both Federal and State jail time is the easy way out. In the old days, they would have been stripped in front of the entire department, bullwhipped, and branded permanently. But we don't do that anymore, now do we?

 

There was an explanation for that argument. Have you heard of the adage, when in Rome, do as the Romans do? The argument was that the police department or at least that division may have been exhibiting "white supremacy" in which the black officers, in order to perform their jobs, did as white supremacists do. And that was the argument.

Whether you or I agree or disagree with the argument is not the point, but that is how it was explained on several shows, news clips, and so forth, if you cared to listen instead of hearing.

 

For you to accuse me of making excuses is extremely irresponsible and inaccurate.

The "excuses" you were making in the posts is that blacks are always playing the victim, which goes into that Jim Crow Era thinking even though I showed you examples of nonblacks who have had their "issues" with the court of public opinion. I am not going to rehash what Fox and other Conservative outlets did day in and day out about no go zone areas in the UK and in the US, or that a list of five Hispanics on the Most Wanted List in California must be all illegals or the constant other false, overgeneralistic claims of people of minority by certain conservative, especially conservative media. But that is also in no way calling you the R word. BTW, what I stated had nothing to do with your first post, it had to do with your subsequent posts with one certain poster and the arguments you were making.

False, it remains extensively rare is it is statistically extremely rare. Plenty of rare birth defects occur everyday across the world. Doesn’t make them any less rare.
