Yesterday America saw the Democratic train wreck from the inside. I guess the Dems just go back to the we will get him when he gets out of office line. I'm not a lawyer so I'm wondering if the statute of limitations comes into play if Trump wins a second term.

Oh! It's going to get a lot worse than it was yesterday! Do you remember Dianne Feinstein releasing all 300 unredacted pages of Glenn Simpson's closed door testimony? How about the criminal referral Chuck Grassley and Lindsay Graham submitted on Steele? The numerous subpoenas Rosenstein ignored when the Senators demanded any documents related to Steele & Fusion GPS? Lindsay Graham says he's doing a "deep dive" into the origins of Mueller's investigation. Graham can snorkel deep enough to prove Bob Mueller's lying about not knowing who Fusion GPS is.

Trump is only too happy to spray the same BS on the same lazy public, then, by perpetuating the 'total exoneration' narrative?

I actually feel bad for Mueller waking up this morning after his obvious struggles yesterday.. Its clear now Mueller was just a name to put a face on the investigation and as a bonus they could claim it was not biased due to him being a Republican..

Its clear at this point that Mueller had very little to do with the report bearing his name which could be why he wanted nothing to do with testifying. The "Pit Bull" was behind the whole thing its why nothing but D's were hired.( and i can see freshair typing "Mueller was a Republican lol) as i type this.

The only defense the media has at this point is that the Mueller report ( 18 angry democrats desperate to get rid of Trump) did not show Trumps innocence. Well no **** that is not their job.. That is not how our system works but i Guess in Muellers doddering mind and D's minds it does not matter.. Ends justify the means.

From 2002 to 2005, Weissmann was deputy director and then director of the task force investigating the Enron scandal.[1] His work resulted in the prosecution of more than 30 people for crimes including perjury, fraud, and obstruction including three of Enron's top executives, Andrew Fastow, Kenneth Lay. and Jeffrey Skilling. In a follow-up case in U.S. District Court, Weissmann also was successful at arguing that auditing firm Arthur Andersen LLP had covered up for Enron. In that case, which resulted in the destruction of Andersen, he convinced the district judge to instruct the jury that they could convict the firm regardless of whether its employees knew they were violating the law.[3] That ruling was later unanimously overturned by the Supreme Court in Arthur Andersen LLP v. United States, in which the court held that "the jury instructions failed to convey the requisite consciousness of wrongdoing."[3]

    ^^^^^

This is the guy behind the Mueller report.

    Btw

Weissmann’s approach — and his expertise in uncovering perjury, obstruction of justice and complex financial crimes — now could pose a mortal threat to Trump’s presidency.

This expert is hanging everything on not being able to show Trump is innocent and not actually doing his job..

Thanks for confirming that H Clinton has been exonerated of any wrongdoing.
Same with Comey, Mueller and all your other favorite targets.

All anyone has to do is ask Rosenstein if he ever spoke to Mueller about Fusion GPS. We know the excuse Rosenstein used to withhold docs was to preserve Mueller's investigation. Mueller had to posses info and docs on Fusion GPS. How do you pursue allegations in Steele's dossier without knowing how and why Steele collected this info? One of Bob's contentions, in his report, in his testimony yesterday, is that Trump's public criticism of the Steele dossier witch hunt was one of the obstruction charges he looked at. No way is Mueller looking at Trump's tweets and not seeing FUSION GPS PAID BY CROOKED HILLARY. No way, no how.

Quite right - he's POTUS. I hold the office in high regard and have expectations for its occupant to be worthy.

yep, how stupid of the President to think Mueller exonerated him... stupid guy

Mueller's hands were tied, the could not try the President in a court of law

    Mueller expects Congress to decide

if Mueller thought Trump was innocent, he would of said so

Barr clears up what Mueller is trying to pull as well.

Mueller Told Us He Was NOT Saying That Trump Would Be Charged If He Was Not President
"Special counsel Mueller stated three times to us in that meeting in response to our questioning that he emphatically was not saying that but for the OLC [Office of Legal Counsel] opinion, he would have found obstruction," Barr told the Senate Judiciary Committee. "He said that in the future, the facts of the case against a president might be such that a special counsel would recommend abandoning the OLC opinion, but this is not such a case."

If you remember, it took some time for the MSM to acknowledge the fact that collusion is not a term found in law books either. They said it essentially had the same meaning as conspiracy. It does not. The exoneration wording that was added to the report is going to take at least as long for the public to forget. It was intentional on the part of the report writer. Barr may insist that certain addenda be issued by the DOJ on behalf of the now closed Special Counsel's office.

There’s a ton of advertising dollars at stake. Losing the exoneration/OLC story would set them back a pretty penny. They would have to go back to Racist or Stormy non-stop.

Maybe the president could kick off the effort to remove it from his tweets. Geeze, I wish he would allow a couple of his advisors to "screen" incoming and outgoing tweets.

What do you think would happen to Turner if he plunked down those textbooks in front of Trump next time he claims the Mueller report totally exonerated him?

I assume that means you don't hold the office in high esteem? It doesn't matter to you who holds it?

They could always subpoena the DOJ version of the Marx Brothers, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper and Comey. They are always good for another laugh and a cigar or two.

"Now that special counsel Robert Mueller has found that no one in the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election, Democrats are busy moving the goal posts. But this is a distraction from the real reckoning that needs to come.

The one we need is for all the intelligence officials—including former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Central Intelligence Agency chief John Brennan, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s former Director James Comey and former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe—who pushed the Russia conspiracy theory. The special counsel has just made clear they did so with no real evidence."
WALL STREET JUSTICE, Mueller Exposes Spy Chiefs, Did our intel leaders have any evidence when they pushed the Russia collusion line?, By William McGurn, March 25, 2019.
