And I am sure that there are a small percentage of guys who would out mother most moms, but so what? When you were a little kid and you scraped your knee, it's mom you wanted to make your boo-boo better, right? Women are incredible care givers on all kinds of levels.

 

It was just an example, but it applies to all levels of courage [except one]. I've always thought if it were men who had babies [actual men], there would be no people. I watched my wife go through that multiple times and if there is a greater miracle than watching a woman give birth, I am not sure what it might be.

Just the same [and perhaps on the next night at 3am] who's going to be the one to be checking out odd noise because the female laying besides you decided with all of her cohorts that it is the male who should put himself in harms way [at all times]. And guys deal with it because we're guys.

Wrong. You voted for illegal immigration when you voted for Biden, or most any other Democrat. The Democrat Party supports illegal immigration because they are looking to change the demographic of the electorate so that they can take total control of the country. The Democrats get the illegal immigrants addicted to welfare and government hand-outs and then they are supporters of the Democrat Party for life.

The next time the Democrats take control of the Federal Government, which could be 2024, since the Republicans are going to nominate the unelectable Trump, the illegals will all be "dreamers" and made into citizens.

The problem is that the country won't be able to support millions of drones financially. At that point the U.S. will be like the hell holes the illegals left except that the weather will be colder.

Twice we tried to make illegals legal under the law. First time was President Bush in 2007. The second time was Obama in 2011 or so. Both failed because of how our legislative process works. One was a Dem and one was a Republican who offered the immigration compromise.

That being said, illegals is a broad, and confused category. I have repeated on what we can do to stop illegal immigration that does not include a wall But that is not politically possible because of our political climate. the other option is to fix the already broken legal immigration system, allowing more low-skilled labor, especially farm workers, with the Blue card, among other things to limit the amount of illegal immigration, fix the asylum/refugee process for the 21st century, and so forth. And most dems want this type of thing.

But then again, the next time you vote for Trump, you vote against the US Constitution, Totalitarianism, Nazism, and not the rule of law. So there.

It's hard to get you right. "On balance" most women "I" know, know that "courage and leadership" are two things not one. And, in my experience, courage and leadership are gender agnostic.

In the last fifty years since the women's movement set all these women free, who are all these great women leaders in our country? Hillary Clinton? Diane Feinstein? Nancy Pelosi? Kamala Harris? This is the best we can do?

 

There have been many accomplished woman in American history. Women excel in all academic fields, sports, business, science and POLITICS.

I see you don’t like Nancy Pelosi but she lead the House successfully for many terms, if it hadn’t been for her leadership Republicans would have killed MediCare for many older Americans. And, she never sold her soul to become Speaker like Kevin McCarthy was forced to. Like her or not McCarthy Will never be the Speaker Pelosi was. Republicans don’t like her because she regularly whipped their ass and rubbed their noses in their own dodo.

There, I beat you to it. I have no objections to controlled immigration. No criminals. No terrorists. No crush of people who exceed our ability to absorb them. The policies we have now ignore all of those objectives. We need people who will make this country better, not those will pull it down

Considering all legal aliens coming on a nonimmigrant or immigrant visa go through a background check, including an FBI name check, providing social media usernames and passwords, and certain other activities. Certain visas require the alien to obtain police certification indicating that they have not violated any laws in their own country as well as a medical check. B1/B2 visa holders have to prove they will return to their home country by providing bank statements and indicating they have a regular, steady job in their home country.

Illegal aliens is a different matter. Most come here to work, but don't go through the legal process because it is too complex and expensive, not to mention draconian. But they are no more criminals than your local restaurant failing a health food inspection. But criminal aliens are and should be the priority of ICE if that alien is in the United States to avoid detection and capture. That has been the case and last year, I believe, ICE captured some 9000 plus criminal aliens. So in essence, we do. WE just should apply the same rules and methods on what criminality is. Otherwise, the next time you have a traffic violation, then maybe you are a criminal, yes?

 

That’s a nice description of what should be and what the Democrat Party says it is when they get pressed on the issue, but it’s not what’s happening, @Alwayssa. The Biden immigration policy is chaos. Illegals get court dates to appear years in advance, and there is no intent on either the illegals’ or the government’s part to keep them. They are here, and they are going to stay. In the mean time they’ll have an anchor baby, and they will be “set.”

As for ICE, AOC, the intellectual heart and soul of the Democrat Party, has called for it to be shut down. That will happen when the Democrats take full control of the government once again.

While some things are assumed by gender and the male is quite often the 'protector', because of physical size. But that doesn't mean always, if you ever chance to see a ticked off female lol. It can be a scary sight. One can also involve 'the great equalizer', and then the equation becomes gender neutral.

We've been hearing about this 'crisis' for decades, and according to some, mankind should have perished from the earth, the continents flooded and the planet burned to a crisp. Yes, the climate is changing. But if one considers the many 'climates' that have happened since this planet existed, which one is 'correct'? What temperature should we really be at? All questions anyone should ask themselves.

Food scarcity - all plants will normally adjust to weather changes over extended periods of time. Plants that cannot withstand a couple of degrees up or down, will either perish or go into hibernation. New species will take their place, new variants and hybrids that can tolerate weather changes. Mother Nature has been addressing it for a 'few' years.

Everyone is a racist - you must have missed the yelling and screaming of those who believe everyone is out to oppress them. I don't care what color/gender/identity someone has, but apparently my skin color matters to some, and more to those who share the same skin color than anyone else. I've actually been called a racist, here and to my face. It's sad that people feel skin matters over character.

 

That won't happen either. Maybe their actions will be curbed or they will target more of the criminal aliens in this country as defined by DHS.
