Gov. DeSantis Calls Out People ‘Still Wearing Six Masks’ After Being Vaccinated

Florida is a beautiful red oasis in a nation sea of blue insanity. The issue of vaccinated people continuing mask theater is a clear example of this. The same is true regarding making school kids wear masks. Governor De Santis is a great American!

 

Whether it’s re opening or mask mandates or regulation reform, supporting law enforcement, tax cuts, business incentives, schools etc.Florida under De Santis and other red states are leading the way.

 

He led Florida to nearly 40,000 officially declared COVID deaths (technically its more but that's another thread). This man has been an ignorant, belligerent, anti-masking piece of **** from the start when he refused to give Florida the mask mandate it desperately needed, threatened legal action against localities that enacted their own, and now finally has made it illegal for a mask mandate to exist in Florida. Not to mention the dozens of other ways he has seen to it that Floridians were made sick or killed by COVID including but no limited to: multiple manipulations of FL's COVID data, forcing re-opening during the height of our worst outbreak, inviting super-spreader events like CPAC and the Super Bowl to the state, encouraging spring break partying and so on.

He wins on almost everything else that he's done while in office. But he loses in a most spectacularly damning way on COVID and if 2020 was any indicator the state of Florida is about to break through its thin light red shade and go hard blue thanks in no small part to this MoRon DeathSantis' criminal level incompetence during this pandemic.

 

By far the best and most honest Governor on COVID nation wide. Good work DeSantis!

 

The worst hit areas of covid are democrat areas, even in red states it’s blue cities that got hit the hardest. Dems dropped the ball on covid. The deaths are on them.

This, right here, is part of the exact attitude that cost Republicans the Presidency and Congress. Lives aren't ranked in value by which way their cities and counties voted and the comparison of COVID's impact between areas of vastly different lifestyle, demographics, density, and activity makes no medical, scientific, or logistical sense.

My wife had covid 19 and was sick for a single day. I still touched her, slept with her and never once did she quarantine from me. I never once got sick or had a temperature.

I'm at work every day touching the doors that 1000+ other people touch who come from bigger cities and many don't wear masks proper and I have yet to get sick.

My secret is to drink only water, eat multi vitamins and omega 3's and stay active and healthy. It works for me.

Covid 19 preys on the weak which is usually elderly and compromised people. My wife is only 40 but she smokes and has diabetes and has always had a low immune system so I'm not surprised she was sick and not me.

I have had a temperature of 104 twice as a kid. Back then I did not eat healthy and drank pop etc. Changing my lifestyle has done me wonders. In the last 7 year's I think I had a cold twice.

If everyone took care of thier bodies and health there would be alot less people getting sick.

As for the masks CDC said they only block 60% of particles on first use and 25% after that. So if they don't work why should I wear won?

Why should I get vaccinated against a virus that has a 99% survival rate that I appeared to be immune to when my wife had it?

She was barely sick. The worst part of it for her was the metallic taste that stayed in her throat.

 

COVID was a breakout issue for Independents, youth voters, first time voters, and even previous Trump voters (namely women/mothers). Accept it or not, the GOP's anti-masking and re-open crusading cost them dearly.

 

Incorrect, it was the previously mentioned cultural influencers.

False, masks don’t work. That’s why they never helped slow covid. Your breath doesn’t disappear in your mask, it circulates around your work place out the sides. It’s a negligible precaution. Covids lifespan outside of our breathe is plenty long enough. But it’s not surprising you could be made of believe you are saving someone’s life by wearing a mask while waiting in a waiting room full of other people, all of which have thier breathe circulating around the office lmao.

MSM, social media, celebs, have been hyping for Dems as long as I can remember but Republicans still win when people believe in them. This time around they followed Pres Trump over an anti-masking cliff and it bit them in the ass.

 

Wrong, they have never so blatantly, or so passionately supported dems. And they have also never lied about Republicans so much either. Nor have they ever been so selective about when to report on something based on political narrative.

This started as an irrational knee jerk response to Trump.

Ok well you can deny the truth about face-masks all you want but here's something you have no choice but to accept: Anti-maskers are a minority in America and their belligerence helped make the Republican party a minority in federal government as well.

 

It is you who is denying the truth. You cite opinions and call them “pure fact” while ignoring common sense. You ignore the contradictions of those in power pushing masks, as well as pushing various other covid nonsense. All because of culture telling you to.

and I don’t think we are a minority at all. Even most dems wear the masks as a chin diaper when they think no one is looking. Or atleast that’s been my experience living in a heavy liberal area in a heavy liberal work place.

 

I was in middle school for the Bush Clinton election and even though I didn't know a thing about politics I remember watching all the MTV celebs subtly shill for Clinton with their Rock The Vote campaign and thinking they should have named it 'Rock The Vote For Clinton'. Even then, not really giving a damn about who the President was, I could tell that people were trying to sell me on their choice even though they acted like it was the voting that mattered not who I was voting for.

 

Who, like Fauci? I ignore him because of his contradictions. The man is a complete tool and for all we know he had a hand in the origin of this virus to begin with so **** him. However, every time he's said we needed to mask up he was right and every time he's said we shouldn't he was wrong. His flip flopping between right and wrong makes him and others like him dipshits but doesn't change the fact that masks do work.

 

They don’t work and I have highlighted exactly why. Part of what makes this disease so able to spread is how it can survive outside of our bodies via our breathe. The mask doesn’t catch the covid lol, our breathe just goes out the sides and it still travels as it circulates. If you are in a room with someone, mask or not, you are basking in each others breathe. The mask isn’t helping you.

masks are a cultural issue, not a safety issue.

 

If stores require them, I will wear them despite my vaccinations. I like to get in and out as quick as I can. Unnecessary drama would interfere with said goal.
