They did not riot at the US Capitol. That term was imposed by the media. This is not how they treat Democrats. For them burning and looting and pillaging and confronting the cops is just peaceful protesting.

Actually I have been to many pro football games and the fans were fighting at every game.
The peaceful protest at the Capitol was that , not a riot. There were tens of thousands of fans at the Capitol and now the law is changing the crimes to very low rate crimes, often misdemeanors.

Sounds like to Republicans, assaulting, vandalizing, looting the Capitol and beating up cops is just "peaceful tourism".

Cops beaten? You mean a small woman of 98 pounds was gunned to death inside a public building.

Who owns that building? You and the cops?

Tell us your view when Black lives matter torches buildings, steals property, breaks and enters. Is that riots? The press called them peaceful protests.

I do not believe the law calls them riots at the Capitol. I believe in the charges attempted on the protestors will be judged in courts of law. But until that day, they are still innocent.

Cops carry various weapons.
I note that looting did not interest Democrats when Antifa and Black lives did it. Torching buildings was not a problem to them.

We know this. A female was killed in the hall. By one of the Armed cops. Nobody beat up the cop. They allowed him to murder and still refuse to give his name to the public.
There had been no effort to conceal Chauvin's name.

When injuries happen due to a guilty party making the injuries, I do not defend those. But there were by accounts, past 100,000 protestors. And AG is making up charges. Those must be proven in court. Some minor issues are being plea bargained.

Those citing all of this violence never cite the authority charges actually made. Why is that?

They are parroting what the Media says. I remind all the media is not a law agency.

Take the unarmed peaceful Ashli Babbitt. She was killed by a person with a gun. She was not legally killed.
The Cop however is protected by his black community.
