Has anyone thought of this in regards to minimum wage?

I think a lot of what you say is true, but:

Minimum wage people seldom are allowed credit so unless hours are cut demand will increase.
The biggest problem is that other quintiles higher than the bottom get progressively higher wages when the minimum wage goes up. Unless we institute a means to automatically increase minimum wage before the cost of living goes up it will only help temporarily.
