I doubt many presidents have had the opposition Party howling for their removal from office from basically day one of their presidency.

You have heard of the concept of "honeymoon period" in reference to a new president haven't you? It has generally meant that in the first six months of his presidency that Congress would agree to give serious consideration to the legislation he supports.

Did congressional Democrats go along with that?

Even if he had a point, which he doesn't, you don't stop working with the opposition party to try to improve the lives of Americans over a dispute about investigations. As I said earlier, it's putting himself before the country.

Trump doesn't have any obligation to work on legislation. The House drafts, the Senate approves. Pelosi & Schumer subvert the constitution at every opportunity. Pelosi needs to negotiate with McConnell and quit trying to recruit Trump to act as her Senate whip. Pelosi is certifiable. She just before going to see Trump, accused him of covering up crimes he's never been charged with ... not even by the only person who can >> Pelosi ...

Except nobody has ever howled for the removal of Trump from office. It's one of those myths that the wingnut media has put in you brain, and you have accepted because you hear it every day. We just want him to stop breaking the law.

Did Trump? He proposed no relevant legislation. None. For some weird reason he spent his first six months issuing executive orders to undo Obama's legacy. Pulling out of international agreements... But did absolutely nothing to push even his own agenda. He just spent them consciously and purposefully dividing the country. What other President has done that?

 

Yes! Exactly the kind of imagery that Democrats need to win 2020 in a landslide. Convince yourselves that you're going to win 50 states, the house, the senate.... everything.... with that and keep 'em coming!

Obama seemed to do just fine. But then he is much more intelligent, much more knowledgeable, more upstanding and is more honest than Trump. Trump is turning out to be a snowflake.

If another legislative branch treated me as president, the way the left is, I would probably wear a sign around my neck that says "**** you".

What Congress fails to understand is they cant pass a single bill without the president's support and signature. This isn't a one way street. They dont hold all the aces. But they are ignorant enough (as you are) that Congress has some magical super power.

The entire reason they want him out of office, and all these investigations, is because they hate that their power is limited.
