My objection is that I see an entitlement as being a benefit granted to certain people who may or may not have paid into the "entitlement". I don't see an entitlement being a proper description for a benefit that was paid for only by those who benefit from it. Is your life insurance an "entitlement"? How about your pension and 401k?

So go ahead; define "entitlement".
