Our local death rate from COVID is 3.51%. Half of deaths have been nursing home people so even halfing that gives you a 1.75% of dying within the next 20 days if you catch it. I do not like masks but I will reluctantly wear one when in public. I mostly try to be in public as little as possible and at off-peak crowd times.

That's one thing I don't understand, all the 24 hour stores shut down to limited hours right away when this started. Why? I would think stores would stay open longer, so vulnerable people could shop then.

 

That never made any sense to me nor did big box stores limiting entrance to one door only. At our Home Depot, everybody had to enter through the main door and exit through the lumber area which was only slightly better than Walmart that made everybody crowd through one main entrance both ways. It was as if one person had it coming or going, everybody coming and going at that time was going to be exposed.

 

Maybe Andy shouldn't have sent the infected off to nursing homes to kill those poor folks off... I mean, it's bad, like you say. How ever will you justify voting for your governor again....

My granddaughter, her husband and their daughter did not have to be hospitalized. Trump was never on a Ventilator. At the hospital he was given a desk and he worked doing his job even in the hospital.

What do you want to bet that should Biden be elected, that - will quickly show up as 937,769,000?
For a Democrat, the focus will be put onto the recovered.

For Trump the focus is on the deaths.

Then there is the fact that out of 9.38 million victims, the number of 231,000 is a small number.

I am not telling you humans do not die from CV19.

What would a Biden have done that a Trump did not do?

Would Biden have rocketed our country into producing a vaccine? With the negative way Biden talks about vaccines, I do not believe we would be remotely close to a vaccine for another 4 years into our future.
