I see on the news Obama is admonishing Black men who have not supported Kamala.
    ---
Former US President Barack Obama has made an impassioned plea to black men to get behind the Democratic nominee. -- BBC
    ---
I can hear the howls now from the media and the democrats if George W. Bush said he was making a plea to white men to support Trump.

Seems some people don’t know what ‘admonishing’ or ‘plea’ means. Hint…they don’t mean the same thing.
That being said, he shouldn’t even make a plea to black men to vote for Harris.

Obama can admonish and later plea to his bros in his same speech. Which I saw him do on a video as the bros looked on.

    Obama's Tiresome Condescension

He accuses Black Men of misogyny.

Apparently this is now as "closing the sale by being abusive".

“Part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives or other reasons for that,” he told the assembled staff and volunteers, referring to a specific kind of Harris-skeptical Black man he anticipated they would encounter during their voter outreach.'

'Obama’s broadside, which quickly went viral, was further proof of his status as the party’s resident scold. The glaring exception to his 2012 declaration that he was “not the president of Black America” has always been Black men, over whom he is assumed to have special providence.'

Previously he stereotyped Black Men as lazy.

'This perception has allowed Obama to exploit stereotypes, blaming underwhelming Democratic performances at the ballot box on “Cousin Pookie,” a mythical layabout who would rather watch football than perform his civic duties. He has also chided Morehouse College graduates — during their 2013 commencement ceremony, of all occasions — for a supposed Black tendency to make “excuses.” What all his lecturing has not occasioned is an honest reckoning among Democratic elites with why some Black men might be souring on them to begin with.'

Their desperation is as obvious as the tactics they use are unethical.

Still waiting for anyone to tell us why we should vote for the 2nd string democrat as opposed to the varsity republican without mentioning Trump, republican or conservative.

All they can do is badmouth trump and anyone who dares not fall into lockstep with Kamala.

Oh, spare me the false equivalence and manufactured outrage. This argument is as intellectually anemic as it is disingenuous.

Let’s break it down, shall we? Barack Obama, a Black man, making a plea to Black men to support a candidate is a call to action for a demographic that has historically been marginalized, disenfranchised, and ignored. He’s reaching out to a community that, to this day, faces voter suppression and systemic inequities. It’s a rallying cry for empowerment, not division.

Now let’s compare that to your ludicrous hypothetical: George W. Bush making a plea to white men. Are you kidding me? White men, the most dominant and privileged demographic in American history, who have never lacked political power, representation, or influence? That’s like calling for the ocean to rally behind water. It's absurd.

Your argument is flawed for one simple reason: context matters. Obama’s message isn’t exclusionary; it’s about ensuring Black voters, who have been disproportionately affected by policies that suppress their voices, engage in the political process. If George W. Bush or anyone else made a similar plea to white men -- who have never been on the margins of political power -- that’s not just a dog whistle, that’s an air raid siren for white nationalism. You simply cannot conflate the two.

Stop pretending you don’t see the difference.

Herschel Walker telling Barack Obama to stop telling Black men how to vote? That’s rich, coming from a man who was handpicked and propped up by a party that has spent decades trying to suppress the Black vote.

You would quote a guy like Walker. well, pass this along to Herschel.

Walker, you’ve been a pawn in a political game, willingly trotted out to parrot talking points that do nothing but harm the very people you claim to represent.

Here’s the deal: Barack Obama has every right to speak to Black men about voting, because he knows what’s at stake. He’s lived the experience of being a Black man in America—navigating the systemic racism, voter suppression, and endless obstacles placed in front of minority communities. You, Herschel, are carrying water for a political machine that’s actively trying to block Black men from having a say at all.

You’re telling Obama to back off? No, Herschel, how about you stop doing the bidding of those who want to keep your own community disenfranchised.

the black vote will make or break this election, the right knows that and it scares them

this country is divided 50\50, any new voters could break that tie, making the black vote a very powerful vote

everyone needs to get out and vote, the more the better

I wonder if he's going to tell them if there are truly black or not based on who they vote for?
I guess if he does at least this time it won't be a white guy telling them...

Obama is no different from his former subordinate, Joe Biden.

“If you don’t vote for me, you ain’t Black.”

The Democrats think they are entitled to the Black vote. When they don’t get it, they send the bloodhounds out to get those who have wondered off the plantation, just like their forefathers did in the antebellum South.

No, the Black vote scares you because if you lose too much of it, your side won’t win this election.

As for your last sentence, that is quite true. To win you need many Democrats to vote early and often. Voter fraud represents a huge part of the Democrat election strategy.

I think it's shocking to democrats that the black population can do and think on their own free will and don't need to be told how to vote or what their thoughts are.

Of course progressives would probably think so but no man is in a position to sit there and tell some other man what he is and is not.

    Not even the mocha Messiah.

The USA's mainstream people work hard to make us a 'melting pot' but people like Obama and Biden continue to work hard to keep us a fragmented nation. Those two are so arrogant they think they should be able to tell all Blacks how to vote. While most of us judge a person by the content of their heart, Obama and Biden still see skin color.
