You think a black skin person is racist against black skin men?

Do you even know what racist actually means?

Already told you I’ve lived it. Why don’t you take your own little poll of people, over 65 years of age and ask them if Obama didn’t wreck race relations.

You excuse racism because you believe its justified based on history. "We will beat racism and segregation of ideologies if we just segregate more!". It's a crazy perspective.

Whats ACTUALLY happening is, the left power players are using the black demographic for their own benefit. Same song and dance. It has always been this way with Democrats. The blacks used to pick cotton to make their Democrat owners wealthy, not they pick ballots and support policy that keeps their handlers in power.

It's shameful, but it's how the Democrat party has always operated.

That comment is intellectually disingenuous; the reference to antebellum Democrats, note that modern Democrats are not the descendents of antebellum Democrats, (noting that antebellum Southern Democrats, were far more conservative than liberal, especially on issues of race and states' rights.) nor are modern Republicans the descendents of antebellum Republicans. To assert the attributes of a party of centuries ago must rub off on the party of today, is a fool's argument. Liberals got the Civil Rights Act passed, not conservatives, you can take that one to the bank, and modernity is all that matters when it comes to which party is this, or that.
Oh, I see the game now. You’ve taken the most threadbare, cynical narrative, crafted in the hollow minds of people who don’t even try to hide their disdain for progress, and draped it in the most tired, debunked garbage from the Jim Crow playbook. Let’s be absolutely clear here: Barack Obama reaching out to Black voters isn’t some malevolent Democratic plot to enslave minds, as you so desperately want to believe. It’s an appeal to a group that has been systematically targeted, brutalized, and marginalized for centuries -- a group still facing the aftershocks of those atrocities.

But, of course, you turn it into a fantasy where Democrats are the real villains and somehow responsible for… what, the ghost of slavery? The same Democratic Party that passed the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act, and continues to fight suppression? You’re recycling the same idiotic talking points about Democrats and slavery from 150 years ago. As if no one’s heard this already, and as if anyone buys it.

Here’s your problem: You want to pretend that racism is some relic of the past, that calls to empower Black voters are nothing but some nefarious plot to create a "new plantation." What you refuse to acknowledge is that the only "plantation" mentality that remains is the one that sees Black voters as dangerous the moment they demand their voice be heard. That fear is the stinking rot at the core of everything you just spewed.

I am unsure why Obama thought shaming black men would bring them into line. Normally that kind of bullying just pisses people off. I assume blacks are the same as everyone else that way.

Man, the ****ing idiots claim gets more and more true every time you post.

Let me break this down for you since you are extremely poor at this: racism is and always has been a part of this country and was very much alive in the 90s and any time pre-Obama. You supposedly lived the life but seemed to have forgotten the whole Rodney King incident and riots after that, that's a big example. Now I'm not sure what kinda dry, milquetoast, bullshit, sheltered life experience you've had or what asshle lied to gave you the impression that it just stopped existing, but it's clear you haven't asked a single black person about their experiences, because the average black person has a different story.

And even if you somehow managed to live your unbelieveably bland lifestyle without this supposedly, let me point out how racism was brought up in multiple TV shows and movies as a real issue and they addressed it back then.

It looks like Dems are panicking.

Betting odds have gone from +7 Kackles to +14 Trump, in just 30 days.

Obama is supposed to staunch the bleeding and it looks like his hectoring of Black Men as misogynists just pissed them off.

You think you have some kind of entitlement to go ape, don't you? I AM a minority where I live. What I will note is the first peron to claim racism ... is a racist (and low IQ too)
Now again... bye... try ti live your life without blaming others.

I seem to remember what democrat President Lyndon Johnson said about Blacks (he didn't use the word Blacks) when he got his 'War On Poverty' and 'Civil Rights Bill' passed. He told the truth when he said Blacks would be voting democrat for the next 100 years. Talk about buying a lot of votes!

Ahh, the old "the parties switched sides" non-sense.

Lincoln was the first Republican president, and led the party of anti-slavery against the southern Democrats.

Those same Democrats, who lost the war, have implemented policy and ideologies that have created a culture of black dependence and push for segregation based on "justice".

Republicans were only considered "progressive" (todays buzz word) because they then and now believe in the equality of men regardless of race. They were the party to pass the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendment after victory.

Today, Republicans continue to advocate for a racially blind society, equality, and justice for all. Democrats on the other hand hold an incredible amount of guilt (rightfully so) and continue to institute policy that ultimatley is unequal, racially driven, and injust. They have just convinced themselves this is alright because of the past they created.

Because of embarrassment and guilt, they want to promote "progress", while simultaneously relying on the same race baiting cards they have always played.

    You embody my point.

I belong to the party that has confidently always been driven by implementing equality and fairness. We aren't driven by guilt like your party.

It's so ironic you try to spin this around to showcase how progressive you are and when republicans baulk, liberals scream "anti-progress".

    Lol.

    The irony is real.

Yes of course and he thinks that he owns their vote and he just browbeated them and called them all misogynist if they didn't vote the right way.

But at least he didn't try to tell them if they're really black or not so I guess that's an improvement.

Oh, for crying out loud -- the old “parties never switched sides” routine, right on cue. This is the kind of willful ignorance that turns historical reality into a carnival funhouse. Let’s get one thing straight: Lincoln may have been the first Republican president, but pretending that the Republican Party of the 1860s is anything like the Republican Party of today? That’s a historical faceplant. You’re talking about the party that used to stand for abolition and civil rights, and now you want to ignore the very real Southern Strategy, the one where Republicans made a calculated move to scoop up the white Southern vote by appealing to their resentment over civil rights? That’s not a theory; that’s a documented fact.

    https://www.britannica.com/topic/Southern-strategy

And what’s this drivel about a “culture of Black dependence”? Are we really recycling this old racist dog-whistle about how policies aimed at leveling the playing field for people who’ve been systematically oppressed are somehow keeping them down? Give me a break. The only thing these policies do is attempt to right the wrongs of centuries of injustice, something your party has consistently fought against since it became the home of segregationists in the 1960s.

Now, let’s talk about your so-called “racially blind” society. That’s just code for “I don’t want to deal with racism.” It’s the lazy way out, the way to avoid addressing why systemic racism exists in the first place. Because if you actually paid attention, you’d realize that pretending race doesn’t matter in a country built on racial inequality doesn’t magically fix it. It just lets people like you pretend the problem has gone away.

And spare me this nonsense about Democrats being driven by “guilt.” The Democratic Party moved forward, passed the Civil Rights Act, passed the Voting Rights Act -- legislation that Republicans today either try to dismantle or water down. That’s not guilt; that’s progress. Real, concrete progress. Meanwhile, the GOP has been on a decades-long retreat from anything that resembles racial equality, hitching its wagon to dog-whistles and “reverse racism” cries every time someone points out their failure to address systemic issues.

You call yourself the party of “equality and fairness”? Well, congratulations on staying consistent, if we were still in 1865. But in the real world, today’s Republicans are the ones pushing voter suppression laws, gerrymandering districts, and ignoring police brutality, policies that disproportionately affect Black Americans. And you’ve got the nerve to talk about “justice for all”? What a joke.

So here’s the irony you’re so eager to point out: You want to claim the mantle of equality while ignoring the very inequality that’s staring you in the face. You want to invoke Lincoln’s legacy while supporting policies that would have made him turn in his grave. The only thing “disingenuous” here is your laughable attempt to rewrite history to suit your agenda.

Not to mention your side has nominated the most criminal, vile, petty, vindicative, self-absorbed malignant narcissist, fraudster con man wannabe dictator, etc., in history. At least Harris has redeeming qualities. Can't say that about Trump.

Obama lecturing black men because he called them misogynists... What's next? Bill Clinton coming out of hiding to... oh wait, he did. And it wasn't good for Scamala... carry on... LOL

I think the funniest thing about this article is someone using quotes from Herschel "Let me hide some of my kids and try to pose as a decent man" Walker to try and call out Obama.

Everyone else tends to see a lot of things that aren't there, and at the same time they don't see things that are there. I already explained to you what he actually said earlier in the thread but I guess I wasn't loud enough the first time.

You didn't mention any border, so I'm gonna assume you mean Texas or Arizona, right? If that's the case and you ARE actually the minority in your part, then you have even less of an excuse to claim racism just stopped until Obama came along.
