History of PF?

Anybody know the history of this forum? I've been here for a few years now nad am just curious. Any old-timers around?

 

This forum came to life on March 2, 2004. It tickles me that I signed up on March 2, 2009.

The12thMan is one person I know was here since the beginning.

I also am fairly sure it's been owned by only the current owner.

We are talked about highly in Wikepedia. We are also the largest world wide political forum.

I will let others chime in now!

JP5 joined on March 17, 2004 and The12thMan didn't join until August 11, 2004. JP5 is the longest serving moderator on Political Forum.

 

Really!? Ooooohhhh, that's kinda creepy to think that each one of us might be stalked for our posts and being discussed somewhere else! Eep! How weird! =o

 

I was just wondering that too

oh are we safe? a computer savvy member once threatened to find me a long time ago because of my political views.

been posting for awhile though, no ones ever came to my mom's basement looking for me, so I feel secure... great site by the way thanks for all the hard work done sincerely....

All I could find were a couple of reviews that had nowt to do with Wiki.

Even then they were a few words long.

The very first moderator was SenaxFlatulus. He shows up very rarely these days.

I joined in June 2004, so I'm one of the longest-tenured members.

Me, JP5 and 12th might be the only survivors from those earliest days.

Me myself is dissapointed that there aren't many 'good' topics here these days but just crap like "the GOP sucks" or "libs are destroying america" and "obama is secretly gay", and the OP is just a few lines of whine.

 

That is true of any forum with a lot of Americans.

 

indeed. But what I meant is that it's just crap, it's just internet pollution. It's nothing of substance, and it annoys me.

 

Well there is not much you can do, other than start your own threads.

 

Sweet! They should mention us individually by name.

If you do that you have to say "meow!" in between sentences for no apparent reason at all. LOL!

 

That might be a bit excessive, Pasithea. Meow! It might ruin the seriousness of my posts. Purrrrrrr..... I mean, as you know, I take my debates very seriously. *licks crotch*

 

Haha omg. xD Reminding of my cat right now. She's in heat (haven't gotten her Spayed yet) and so she's constantly licking her crotch 24/7, or sticking her butt in the air, or crying a lot "Meow meow meow!" Actually it sounds more like "Ow ow ow!" Every time she gets too close to our feet with her tushy we shout, "Ew! She got her cat juice on me!!"

You gotta do a pic like this where a cat was just licking it's nether region and then looks up at you like, "What?"
