It is actually still on Twitter now with Musk in charge. It has been reduced, but they are still there according to this article.

    I will call that BS.

For starters, most of the conservative college campuses are private universities. But if you are using your argument as a premise, then you are grossly mistaken. For instance, at Liberty University, the administration will never allow College Democrats on campus at all. Sounds like intolerance to me. Then you have Hisdale College, where there is no allowance to speak in favor of LGBTQ issues on that campus. Then you have Texas Christian University which got caught banning free speech in this article. Or will you make the exception that private property is exempt, which may include ATT/Directv argument you may have brewing?

Furthermore, the issue is more complex. No university is going to allow Westboro Baptist Church to come on Campus and use the free speech platform because they offer directtv threats of violence to those who are gay and those who don't follow the law.

But this link shows the "red light" on which universities heavily restrict free speech. If you would notice, the number of public universities with the "red light" instance that restricts free speech is 13.9% while the number of private universities is 37.8%. So, it is clear that private universities, which tend to be more conservative than most public institutions, is where the problem of free speech lies.

AS for "woke" religion, whatever that means, then you need to look at Pastor Greg Locke here. He is not what you call a "woke" pastor. He and his church are probably so conservative, he makes you look like a liberal. But these are extreme pastors, not woke pastors.

As opposed to threatening people with jail for contesting those subpoenas in court which is what Democrats have done? Seems to me the scales are even in that department. Like I've said before, Democrats and Republicans are just two sides of the same coin.

Free speech isn't just a 1st amendment right. It's a God given human right.

Of course private institutions can discriminate any way that want.

Publicly funded universities, however, cannot discriminate - but of course they do.

They discriminate against asians, conservatives, Republicans, and Christians.

If you want to found a Gay University and only allow purple haired gays, go for it - I wouldn't say you haven't the right.

If, however, you take public funds... that's a different story.

If that is the case, then publicly funded universities are not inhibiting free speech as much as you think they are doing per the report. Yale is a private institution. So is Harvard. Both are in the spotlight for affirmative action. So you were saying about public vs private?

However, I don't think you understand how college admissions work for the most prestigious universities. Each applicant goes through several layers of decision-making rounds to decide who is and who is not let in. The easiest is the SAT/ACT scores. What decides who is let in is a variety of other factors and race is not considered. In a lot of instances, it is a decision to reflect what the university wants to student campus and whether or not it will bring them prestige. Many of the Asians and Blacks they actually let in are international students paying those international tuition rates. That is where the university makes its money. In addition, with their network of other universities from across the globe, the colleges and universities now have options for their domestic students to study abroad and give them a worldwide experience. It is how they sell their programs to the students they are actually looking for. It is who they decided on the student athletes that go to their universities and block a certain number of acceptances for them, even the ones who don't get an athletic scholarship. And sports makes big money for these colleges and universities, even Division 2 and 3 schools no matter who they play.

As I said, I don't care what private institutions do. I would never send one of my children to those leftist indoctrination centers. Even though I have to send them to the lower level indoctrination centers, as I simply don't have the luxury of time available to home school.

That said, Harvard and Yale have fully bought into leftist ideology, and they are overtly hostile to Christian, conservative, and americanist views.

As for that "world wide, global" experience... they are not teaching or promoting americanism in any way - they are promoting globalism with a marxist, top-down view of governance.

From the standpoint of Americanism, liberty, and our republican constitutional system of governance - those institutions are wholly unamerican and anti-freedom.

Which it is why, I suppose, you think they are great.

Engaging in a conspiracy to violate the rights of others is most certainly as crime for which incarceration could result.

Globalism has been in existence since the time of the Phonecians Wist43. It was also during the age of sail and post WW2 where globalism prevailed and trade was essential not only int the times of antiquity but also in modern times, but for different reasons. It is essentially free market enterprise, not marxism. And it has improved this economy as well as Japan, China, Russia, UK, Europe, and so forth. It is why some of the best UK food includes a spice known as curry, a Indian spice, like in the country. It is why in the american restaurant business you can have anything from Chinese to Americana to Italian to Russian to Vietnamese and so forth. And most "American food" is our take on some of the international cuisines. We just mae them popular like french fries, or hamburgers or pizza, among others. Fried Chicken is something that slaves did in the 18th and 19th century. It was cheap food and lard was also very cheap in those days, especially in bulk.

As for college experience, their job is to educate, period. What that education entails is determined by each college or university. We do have a variety, which is the point, but some of the most prestigious universities are not just Ivy League schools here. The University of Chicago has the best undergraduate and graduate programs for economics, even toppling UK's School of Economics or Cambridge University. On top of that, international students get a full view of what it is like to live in America and experience life in American colleges. Some have culture shock, well, most have culture shock. And to help alleviate that culture shock both nonprofit organizations, namely churches, and the office of International students make sure they are welcomed here. In fact, I was a part of that in my alma maters. And that allowed me to continue my experience and knowledge well past my collegiate time. But universities are not going to teach what it is to be "American" because that is unique to each and every person.

Finally, despite the fact you made the statement "you don't care" if they are private colleges, it appears you do care because Harvard and Yale are private colleges and you want them to change into your type of indoctrination. Son, you are acting more like a communist with your type of statements and do not want freedom of speech at all because you want everyone to be, think, act, and resemble you. Life does not work that way.

Yet I bet you did not object to SC Justices that graduated from from them, even being indoctrinated as they are.
You have no clue what is Marxism. Which institute of higher learning did you attend?

I did, I found none. At least none that you are referring to.

There are criminal conspiracy laws out there, but none deal with the violation of the rights of others. 18 USC 371 the conspiracy to defraud the United States. There are civil statutory laws under the books in which it is a civil liability "for two or more persons to conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person of any state, territory or district in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him/her by the Constitution or the laws of the United States." But civil is not the same as criminal. And you were referring to a criminal statute here.

So again, I will ask you, what the hell are you referring to here?

I didn't say Harvard and Yale had to change except if they are accepting tax money - which I'm sure they are.

As for globalism - globalism doesn't mean international trade, it means centralized geopolitical and monetary control; it means open borders; it means trade deficits and debt for the U.S.; it means the U.S. disproportionately shouldering military expenses for Europe; it means crippling our energy independence while China builds coal-power plants like they're going out of style, et al.

All of those things are good for China, good for the globalists, and bad for the U.S., which I'm sure is why you approve of "globalism".

Most private universities such as Liberty and Hillsdale College also accept federal tax dollars, namely pell grants and federal student loans, but a few others such as federal research grants and so forth as well. Should they change too because they are accepting money or not?

Globalism IS international trade. What it encompasses is that both foreign and economic policy is used to maximize the trade. Free Trade agreements is an example of globalism. And yes, it is capitalism, a very complex form of capitalism. In fact, without international trade, modern globalism would not exist today.

Well the genie's out of the bottle isn't it... all federal spending on education is unconstitutional - so if they're going to brazenly violate the Constitution to enrich the radical leftwing universities, what's to hold them to account for any unconstitutional spending or action??

Again, international trade has always existed. Nothing new about countries trading goods and services.

What's different today is "globalism" which seeks to undermine the sovereignty of individual nations, and centralize the power to dictate terms. It is about power.

You obviously don't agree with America's founding principles or the sovereignty of our nation - so international agreements that work against America as a nation are fine with you.

For those of us who want to remain free within a sovereign nation - the UN, NAFTA, WEF, IMF, World Bank, BIS, etc, are a disaster.
