The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave is just a political slogan and an appeal to emotion.

It does seem we are more free than Canada or Australia or Britain these days, but not in some states and cities. Home of The Brave? With half the population taking an experimental and dangerous drug to "protect" them from a flu bug with a 99% survival rate, bravery is not in play amongst the US populace.

Bravery is displayed only by those doctors and scientists willing to speak truth to power, willing to blow the whistle on the pseudo science being advanced by Fauci & Friends.

 

Interesting 'take' on the definition of bravery. People who say or do something I agree with are 'brave'. People who don't are 'cowards'. How very convenient for you because by default that make you 'brave'. And you haven't had to so much as lift a finger to achieve that status. I salute you!

Here's what is so astonishing about the leftist communists, up to date - 2021, we have not been able to produce a flu vaccine that protect against all strains & mutations of the flu virus.

But somehow, the highly experimental vaccine they have now is going to protect us from covid, while evidence are already pouring in that it does not.

Why is government putting vaccinated targets on opening the economy when the vaccine doesn't work? Are these people really that incompetent or is there something else going on?

This is why conservatives cry conspiracy on the pandemic, because here are the options:

1. either those in power are destroying economies with their incompetence, or
2. they have an agenda.

There is no middle ground here....it is either stupid or part of the plan.

 

Firstly, yes he said it - mistakenly. And then clarified his comment as soon as the mistake was brought to his attention. Which is why its good practice when stating something as 'fact' to check first. Failing that including a statement something to the effect of 'happy to be be proven wrong' or some such. Which is what I usually to do if I think I might be right but am not certain i.e. indicating a willingness to be proven wrong.

As for the rest;

1) To the best of my knowledge I have been officially 'ignored' perhaps 2 or 3 times in the period I have been on PF. And for what its worth have never 'ignored' anyone. Maybe you have a more accurate count, I wouldn't know. But as I said previously if your guestimating say so.

2) For all that it matters acknowledging you were wrong if you posted incorrectly is absolutely the proper etiquette.Try it,it works.

3) Its a widely acknowledged medical fact that people can still be infected and be infectious after having been vaccinated. What vaccination does do is hugely increase the likelihood that any illness suffered by a vaccinated person will be much less severe than would be the case otherwise. Normally vaccination also significantly reduces the likelihood of passing on the disease to others. This is because the vaccine reduces the viral load carried by the vaccinated.

So masks are still advised until you've maximized the number of vaccinated in the community. A process you and people like you are slowing down allover the world. So don't like masks? Then FFS get vaccinated.

 

Let me tell you something, if you are pushing this shutdown, vaccination, mask policy in favour of flattening the curve, and you are NOT one of the top 10% income earners in the world. Then you are either;

a) dumb as dogsh!t
b) a minion

As far a point(3) goes. Sigh. Your doing it again. Who are 'they'. References and links - USE THEM. Otherwise how are people going to discredit your usual sources.

But as so often in the past again wrong (apparently deliberately so) . Pfizer has already stated its that its too early in to tell how long people will retain immunity for. What they have publicly said is that at this stage it could be 6 months to 2 years before a booster shot is required but that clinical research is still ongoing. Strange how you only mention the shortest possible figure isn't it? And the community is not not 'back to square' one as you assert BTW. Because even after that period a person would have some degree of immunity, just not enough to guarantee disease suppression in the community.

But in the end so what? We currently have annual flu shots. A booster shot every so often is hardly a big ask.

For the rest" How old are you 5? No-one has ever said vaccines are 100% safe 100% of the time. Nothing in life is 100% certain (except as the man says death and taxes). Vaccines don't work all the time, forever, well boo hoo! Neither do cars, planes, computers surgical procedures, medicines/antibiotics etc etc still use them though don't you.

And I would happily keep my nose out of 'your business' except for the fact that in this specific case 'your business' makes you a risk to others. Lets be clear if you want to damage your own health that is your own business. But when you claim card blanche rights to damage the health of others - you make it my business. Just like other people have that the right with me.
