How Biden opposed gay rights for 50 YEARS after his high school 'epiphany' when he saw two men kissi

Biden stated that he changed his opinion on gay rights after watching two of the same sex kiss in High School.

How can this lie be sold as truth when he was opposed to gay marriage for almost 50 years even voting against it in 1996. How can anyone defend this guy?

Maybe he went from thinking gay people should be thrown in jail, to thinking they shouldn't be thrown in jail.

Biden was the first national politician to say that he thought same sex marriage should be legal.
When or why he came to that conclusion is less important then the fact that he reached the right conclusion.

All you can do is judge a person’s actions. If you can determine, based on Biden’s actions, that he opposed the LGBTQ community, then based on his current actions you must determine that he no longer does. You can’t pretend to know a person’s thoughts or motivations.

Also, support for the LGBTQ community is not a far left proposition.

 

I don't care if he only supports LGBT rights because he thinks it helps him get votes, as long as he supports LGBT rights.

Biden didn't change, his party changed so he flip flopped to become president and appease his parties agenda. By your words, every single politician who flip flops including Trump are not guilty. We should accept whatever any politician even if it contradicts everything they have done their entire lives because hey, they must have changed their stances. Even after 50 years! That makes for a perfect sheep to never ever question their parties representatives actions.

 

I support LGBT. I don't support straight up liars and those who defend them. Biden is not pro-LGBT, he was forced by his party to being pro-LGBT. You must support liars or have been indoctrinated so much that you cannot think for yourself anymore.

Now, if Biden was truly smart instead of a complete tool, he would have said something like,"I was wrong in the past regarding LGBT, but would like to make ammends." That would be sincere and not a complete lie. Instead, he lied and you people eat it up.
