Mass shooting in Baltimore with two dead and 30 shot. Usually when something like this happens it's posted here within an hour of the news breaking. I wonder what's different about this one? https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/02/us/baltimore-shooting-sunday/index.html
I saw this story and figured Biden, Harris and a lot of people on this board would have a lot to say about it, but I was wrong. Somehow the facts surrounding this mass shooting doesn't seem to be much of a concern to the folks who have been very vocal about such things in the past. For the record, my gun is in a locked case hidden wherever the wife put it and I don't have the key to the case or trigger lock. My gun didn't escape from the case, unlock itself, load itself up with ammo, point itself at someone and pull its own trigger. Only humans can do that.
This shooting was most likely gang related and that means someone at the party probably knows who the shooters are. Let's see if they snitch.
People generally don’t care about events that are gang related or relegated to pockets of the nation. They are worried about school shootings or shootings in public malls / theaters as it could potentially impact their families or themselves.
Do certain individuals somehow not understand why people would be less concerned with possible gang related gun violence and more concerned with possible gun violence against their kids sitting in a classroom learning about multiplication tables?
Yeah, we say tons of concern oozing out of the gun grabbers after the Nashville shootings. I've even say we were told having any concern at all was t-phobic.
The glee that was found by the right was the only thing transphobic. That shooting was pretty much universally condemned but how the right treated it vs how they treat regular shootings shows what the narrative is.
I don't recall any glee. What I do recall is how Biden and Harris completely ignored the massacre, not because of who the victims were, but because of what the shooter was.
You might as well copy this post ready to paste it 100 times more. Because the usual suspects will be asking the same question again and again...
I’ll tell ya what…if you’re going to ignore gang shootings then stop adding them to gun murder and mass shooting statistics.
Out of roughly 38,000 to 40,000 gun deaths per year how many of those do you think are suicide and gang shootings?
Never mind the fact how rare those are compared to gang violence that happens all over the nation every single day. And it's not like no one ever gets caught in the crossfire
If I had to guess I would say that she is blaming pieces of steel that poke holes in things at a distance
100% — but unfortunately that is human nature. Most people have to fear they will be directly impacted to really care and even the people that act like they care are mostly just pushing an agenda. Now once people think their loved ones can be harmed things rapidly change.
You are asking why no one posted it . . . meaning neither liberals nor conservatives are doing much to cover it. Though I did see a good bit about it on social media and, yes, even from "mainstream media" sources. Some stories just don't get much traction, and I don't really know why. Gang related stuff normally doesn't get much. On the other side, a conservative shot up a church several years ago and it barely made a blip on the forums. I have yet to meet a conservative who actually remembers it, and I've met maybe 1 or 2 liberals who do.
People who only care about shootings at certain locations or that impact only certain people ought not to moralize on the subject of firearm deaths at all. Obviously their priorities are out of whack.
Like our left wing controlled FBI that refuses to release the trans shooter manifesto? Gee, it seems to me they only want to release information about CERTAIN shootings. maybe you can give the FBI this advice?
