*Sigh.* Yet another Trump charity that ripped off donors: https://www.forbes.com/sites/danale...charity-money-into-his-business/#6c03319f6b4a Nice, Trump. Profiting from kids with cancer. Normal stuff? Not at all. And it also points out what a sham it is for Donald Trump to put his businesses in a trust run by his sons. Because he showed no problem ordering Eric's charity to put money in Donald's pocket. Lots more at the link. Trump is a charlatan and a con man.
No charity or event is perfectly efficient. And the article simply says it doesn't know where the money went, so they assumed the worst so they'd have something to write about. When you show the same outrage at, for example, the red cross, then there will be a shred of credibility in this fake outrage. I hate most 'charities' for this very reason, but faking outrage simply because of who's behind it is typical of the left. It's hypocritical, which is about the left is good for these days.
That's correct. The people on the right would never attack a charity because some left wing Democrat was behind it. Only those awful leftys would dare to do that.....Rolf.....
The Clinton's made out like bandits. https://www.google.com/amp/amp.usatoday.com/story/92842822/ http://www.dailywire.com/news/8561/7-things-you-need-know-about-clinton-foundation-aaron-bandler
You must not have read the article very carefully. Eric Trump claims they get to use the Trump facilities for free, so all the money goes to the kids. That is a lie. Eric Trump claims all the money goes to help kids with cancer, when $500,000 of it was rerouted to other charities connected with Trump's business interests. So that, too, is a lie. We have witnesses saying Donald Trump insisted the charity be billed for use of Trump facilities. We have Donald Trump using his own foundation to pay $100,000 to his son's foundation, which his son's foundation promptly paid to Trump's businesses -- funneling charitable dollars into Trump's own pocket. This is illegal. After Donald Trump started charging his son, the charity event's cost exploded, going from $50,000 to $322,000. But there's no obvious reason for the huge spike in costs. Given the size of the event, even if Eric Trump's foundation paid for everything out of its own pocket, there's no way to make that cost add up to $322,000. Forbes tried, and enlisted professional golf tournament planners to help. They couldn't believe the amount of money involved. Eric Trump said his costs were about $100,000 a year, even though his foundation's tax records showed the costs to be three times that. That is a lie. It's not a matter of being "perfectly efficient." It's a matter of documented lies, and expenses out of any conceivable balance with the event in question, all with one end result: putting money in Donald Trump's pocket.
Nothing in those links shows Clinton Foundation money going into the Clintons' pocket. And the second link, in particular, is both highly partisan and highly incomplete, leaving out some VERY relevant information (like the unique structure of the Clinton Foundation, in which it does most of its own charitable work, rather than donating to other charities). Shockingly, yet another lame deflection effort.
Costs of $100.000, recovered against CHARITABLE FUNDING OD $11,000,000 for that charity in the OP ,and ANOTHER $5,000,000 for another charity , as well... Oh , THOSE BASTARDS !!!!! TDS much? If only our government was as efficient in getting goods and services to those who need them.
They CLOSED their Global Initiative, where did those hundreds of $millions go? The Global Initiative was the bulk of the alleged "spending" (unless you ask Haiti), and where almost ALL of their money came from? Where did it go? They have no massive charitable giving here. They pay their daughter over half a million a year, to do nothing...
The FACTS are the FACTS. Chelsea makes $600,000 per year, at a "charity" that has SHUT DOWN its biggest efforts, but STIILL KEPT THE MONEY.(hundreds of millions). And the left twits are here seriously trying to pretend that $100,000 operating costs against $11,000,000 raised for JUST ONE CHARITY is some kind of "outrage". Complete nonsense. This is why NO ONE outside the coastal urban hellholes even bothers LISTENING to the left anymore...we know it's ALL TDS BULLSHIT.
The Clintons didn't receive any money from the Clinton Foundation and, in fact, donated large amounts of money to it.
David Fahrenthold -- calling out Eric Trump on his LIES. Here's the question I sent @erictrump after that blockbuster @Forbes story, which indicates Eric misled me.
So there wasn't a single employee working there that had to be paid? Like I said, charities are for the most part dishonest to some extent, some more than others. When you give a **** about those too, I'll give you some credit. And if you've ever uttered a single word in defense of the clinton foundation....guess what that makes you?
No she doesn't and she never did, that's a complete lie. This is why NO ONE outside the coastal urban hellholes even bothers LISTENING to the left anymore...we know it's ALL TDS BULLSHIT. View attachment 51814 [/QUOTE] "Coastal hellholes?" Lol.
It's the "some more than others" bit that's at play here. What the Forbes story describes is NOT standard practice among charities. I don't know. I suppose it would be what I actually said, in defense of what. I've repeatedly said that the Clinton Foundation setup looked bad, especially with Bill giving paid speeches to many of the same people/countries who donated to the foundation. It was fine when Hillary wasn't in government -- but once she became SecState, they should have shut down Bill's speechmaking, and limited who could donate to the foundation. In the extreme they could have shut down the foundation, but that would have been a shame, because it actually did quite a bunch of good work. The only mark against it was that it was too sloppily connected to a high-ranking government official, and neither Bill nor Hillary cared to put a firewall between it and them. So they deserved criticism for that. But even at its worst, nothing the Clinton Foundation did compares to the shenanigans Trump has pulled with his family foundations.
